Reaching her room, Riya went to bed but sleep wouldn't come. She lay thinking about Aditya and felt sad. Then, she felt angry. "Bas Riya! Ab aur nahi. Jab osne tere baare main nahi socha to tu kyun soch rahi hai? Aaj se, tu oske baare bhool jayegi. Vo teri life main kabhi tha hi nahi!" she told herself.
On the other hand, Arjun was also awake. He was confused about his feelings. He thought about everything that had happened in the past month. He earlier thought that once he punishes Sikandar, he would be free from all the restlessness that he felt in his life but now, he was even more restless. He felt like he was missing something. But what? He had no answer. His thoughts automatically turned to Riya. He knew that he felt something towards her, that she meant something to him and he had a faint idea what, but he just wouldn't acknowledge it. "Nahi," he thought, "ye nahi ho sakta! Maine apni poori zindagi main sirf ek baar pyaar kiya hai! Aur vo thi Roshni. Main Riya se pyaar nahi kar sakta!" Arjun lay thinking about right and wrong. Arjun remembered the dream he had in the flight, and the fact that had dawned upon him. He didn't want any ties with Riya so he thought of a hundred different reasons for his feelings towards her but came up with stupid things. In the end he thought of a perfect excuse; he was a broken man, already lost his love to the cruel destiny, losing Roshni had turned him into a cold man. Riya deserved better. She deserved someone who could love and cherish her and treat her like a princess. Being with him would give her lots of pain and he surely wouldn't want that. Happy at having found an acceptable excuse, he went off to sleep.
The next morning, ETF and CIB met at the headquarters of CIB. They had to discuss the strategy to attack the smuggling gang they had found about the day before. It was not a complex case but the commissioner had wanted ETF on it because it could become a reason for large scale destruction. There were 5 exits to the warehouse where the smugglers were operating from, so the teams were split into 5 parts. The teams were- Arjun and Riya, Shree and Sameera, Rathode and Sanjana, Chotu and Daksh and Ashutosh and Ashish. They were supposed to go in together and attack. The teams left for the warehouse and took-up their positions. (Note: Riya is now over her fear of killing someone; thanks to Arjun.) Rathode ordered them to attack and they all went in. Heavy firing started and Rathode and Sanjana cleared off their side of goons first because they were less in number. Then, Chotu and Daksh and Ashutosh and Ashish finished theirs at the same time. Shree, Sameera, Arjun and Riya cleared their fields but theirs being the nearest and the closest exit, more and more smugglers came up from behind. Sameera and Shree finished their lot and headed towards the middle room where the plans and the operations were carried out.
Meanwhile, Arjun and Riya were still facing the smugglers because the leaders had also joined in. The leaders were quite experienced so it took a while for them. They managed to kill all but one who was hiding behind the huge boxes and Arjun and Riya didn't know. Then suddenly, when they were scanning the room, Riya saw a gun peeping out from behind a box and pointing straight at Arjun! She didn't get the time to tell him and he didn't notice a thing before there was a loud bang!
On the other hand, the other members of the ETF-CIB had managed to secure the smuggling products and all the information including all the famous names joined in! They were just coming out when they heard a single gunshot and a scream, followed by another gunshot and all of them stiffened. The ETF were even more scared because Arjun and Riya weren't there. Everyone hurried towards the sound of the gunshot and when they reached there, they were all horrified. Immediately, Ashutosh called for an ambulance, because the ETF members were shocked even to respond to the scene before them. The ambulance arrived within minutes and took the victim straight to the hospital, with the ETF members, except Chotu, in the ambulance and the rest of them following behind. In the hospital, the doctors rushed the victim to the operation theatre and began the operation while the restless ETF members waited outside praying to god as if asking for their own life!
