Viren stood right there, staring at the two ladies with baffled eyes. His face tilted, mouth open, eye-brows raised and hands folded across his chest , listening carefully to each of Jeevika's words, trying too figure out as to what exactly she was saying. She came in taxi ? Took the address from Virat's facebook ? " Seriously Jeevika?" he asked in the most irritated tone. " What the ... Did she just wink at me ?"

"Yup !!"

"Dhruv where did you come from ? And did you just hear me ?"

"Ahhan" Smiled Dhruv, Viren's childhood friend. "Let's go and join others for a drink," he said, trying to change the topic. He knew Viren does not like to talk much about Jeevika and obviously not about her winking at him in public.

"Attention everbody!!" Swamini stood at the middle of the dance floor, smiled and continued, "It is a pleasure to have your company at Virat's sangeet function. The Function will being in just a moment. It is a proud moment for me and let me now was upon the dance floor Manvi and Virat."

The room became dark and quiet. A spotlight shone and then from behind the curtain appeared Manvi and Virat. The hall was at once filled with the admiring murmurs of the guest. The couple looked stunningly gorgeous as they walked down the stairs toward the dance floor, hand in hand, smiling brightly ! They looked no less than any celebrity dressed in their colour coordinated designer outfits.

"Let the sangeet begin" Swamini's words met with a loud applaud from the guests.

The function was in full swing. The dance performances were spectacular, the music ear-deafening, the food mouth-watering. Viren sat in the bar with his friend, enjoying the soft drinks, his eyes scanning the hall looking for somone.

There she was !! Unaware of her surroundings, fully engrossed her own world, dancing as if today was the last day. She was so full of life, so carefree, so happy !!

His lips twisted into a smile, his gaze fixed at her dancing form. She looked beautiful !He was looking at her after such a long time. Of course he had seen her pictures but hadn't seen her in person for so long. And since the time they met today he hadn't even seen her properly.

He was completely mesmerized by her beauty. her long black hair swayed with her softly carassing her cheecks, her kohl filled eyes that could easily captivate every man on earth, her velvetly perfectly pink lips curved into a million dollar smile ." How could someone be so breathtakingly gorgeous? " he thought to himself, while his eyes were still noting each of her dance moves.
