@ Kadeen- as u urself said, it was a big deal when she left them without any note, etc...the reason why it was a big deal yesterday was that she has hardly done anything to redeem herself after that lalitpur incident. tying shoelaces and playing in the park is not enough!

That will make her realize what she has done and how much it has hurt Yash and how wrong she was...just like it took her leaving with Ansh without revealing the pregnancy truth for Yash to realize what he had done to her and how wrong he had been!

Oh how I wish that happens, sounds delicious!😆

@ Exactly, actually Arati leaving took him to realise all the mistakes he did and something huge on that kind will only make Arati realise her mistakes, not Yash's anger or misunderstanding, but his silence, his trust in her even after all this and probably finding all the mistakes in him and not in Arati.

I have a friend who had a cat that she needed to get fixed, so she asked her vet when was the best time to do it and he told her "when his balls drop".
For Christ's sake Aarti let your balls drop. I sincerely wish this woman would take her life in her own hands. I know, i know, it's a serial their not real Blah, blah, blah, but on some level this is really trying my patience. I know tomorrow I'll regret being so frustrated with the CV's but right now I just want them to make her speak up.
And instead of celebrating all the Holidays if they could just roll them and birthdays into one big ball and have everyone in the D and S households have a huge yearly knock down drag out fight over everything on that one day maybe I could sleep tonight.😕
Sorry for the short rant but I do feel better now.

On one hand you choose to interpret her self thoughts and on the other hand you take them as they seem? If you can doubt her for using "majbhoori" to justify her actions, then I can doubt her for saying that she isn't telling him because she is uncertain whether or not he will stop the BMT.😆

And if we don't go that route, then all I have to say is----->>>>>>Aarti is afraid of losing Yash. And how would she lose him? If he were to react negatively...for example throwing her out of the house, filing for a divorce, asking for a legal separation, suggesting that they live separately in the same house...You see what I'm saying? They are unvoiced concerns, just like "majbhoori" does not fully justify her actions😆

The Power of Dupey's Brainwashing

Many of you are wondering how Aarti could continue to hide the facts from Yash, particularly, in light of his own confession regarding not informing her that it was Dupey who called him over for a meeting. Why does she not trust him enough? Is it not apparent to her that Yash would support her decision to help P and the Dupeys?

Your concern is appropriate but I cannot fault her - for it is the power of Dupey's brainwashing that has taken control of her thought process with respect to P issues. The Dupeys (manipulators) have brainwashed Aarti (victim) to conform to their expectations by creating submission to their beliefs by continuously and repetitively working on her fears and feelings of guilt-n-obligation. Of course, Aarti's self-sacrificing personality trait made their work very easy. The core concept behind brainwashing is "If you can guide them to feel a certain way - a way that benefits you - you'll have a much easier time getting what you want. " And this is exactly what the Dupeys have done they have guided Aarti's thought process into doing what they want. Is she now not thinking of helping them financially as well? Unfortunately this is working to Aarti's detriment and is a cause of great concern to the viewers. Believe me - similar situations happen in real life too. There are many individuals with deep emotional scars. Aarti is no exception. My heart bleeds for I have seen such victims - believe me their despair is profound! However, first - Aarti needs to be unshackled and awakened!

We all know the truth cannot and will not be concealed and will be revealed soon - and Aarti will be facing the fall out. What then? Will Yash understand that she was emotionally blackmailed? Will he even fathom that she is a victim? Will Aarti get the help she needs? Will Yash get an understanding of Dupeys scheme that sucked Aarti into this black hole? What about AarYa's unborn kid? How will she explain Prashant to Ansh - will he not be hurt too?

Today neither Prashant nor the Dupeys asked Ansh whether he was OK after the procedure. This reinforces my opinion that they view Ansh as an object or means to an end and Aarti as a pawn to be manipulated. A pawn can be protected by a knight and I hope Yash despite his (emotional) hurt quickly assumes the role of Aarti's knight in shining armor.

My POV re: Yash feelings:

It is bad enough when a stranger or foe betrays you, but when it is someone you believed to be a close and trusted friend, partner, or spouse, it is especially hurtful. It might feel like you were taken advantage of, deceived, humiliated, despised, cheated, or stabbed in the back. (source: unknown)

My heartfelt desire that Yash may emulate/gain inspiration from Christ and say:

Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do...Luke 23:34

PS Note Re: Dupey's conversation with Yash.

It was so typical - that the manipulator took the easy way out and fled on receiving Shobha's phone call!!

EDIT: The effect of emotional brainwash is short term. So irrespective whether the truth is revealed or not - when the effect weans and Aarti becomes aware of her actions - she will suffer an emotional shock.

@Angel, Fab fab visual interpretation of the episode, I absolutely had a ball reading it.

@Jyo, loved your thoughts.

@Zetter, ha ha! Even I had the same thought about Shobha. She has known Aarti for so long. And that makes me wonder, did she really. If she had faith in Aarti wouldn't she have encouraged Aarti to tell Yash the truth and have Yash on their side. Couldn't she have trusted Aarti's persuasive skills with Yash? But alas, when it is matter of your son's life and death, I suppose that superficial trust was severely tested. Dubey! I really have no love for him. Shobha at least thanked Aarti but Dubey? But that Aarti-Shobha convo got me sniffing. Nothing more to add about Aarti. I think everyone else will have lots to say. 😆

@Sammy, bravo! Wonderful take as always. I loved that bit too where Ansh brings Yash into the convo at the hospital. I loved that one line of your "It is all a matter of circumstance and perspective". Exactly! That pretty much sums it up for me. I had a different view of Aarti taking Ansh for shopping. I thought she was buying time for not going back home and having to face Yash. Still, agree that when you have taken your kid out of school you don't want to take him shopping.

@All, I am not going to say much about this discussion about Aarti and her lack of whatever it is towards PayPal. It is true that in the current scenario Aarti is giving visible signs of not being completely emotionally involved with the kids. But if we have a track with PayPal's insecurity as the focus of the track, it would be very unfair if we assume that all their insecurities are squarely Aarti's fault. Their insecurities started even way before Aarti came into their life. And after she came into their lives, both parents have contributed to their growing insecurities.

We don't know what they have or have not been doing. In case you've forgotten, the CVs show Palak and Payal once every few years. It must have been a leap year yesterday😛. My point is, they spend weeks of real time on one day in "reel" time and then skip ahead. So we cannot say for certain that Aarti and the girls do not do anything with each other. Everyday things are just as important is big gestures. A loving hand to tie a shoe lace, a warm palm over your forehead as you fall asleep, tucking them with their favourite stuffed toys, all these things are acts of bonding just like Yash's games with Ansh. A mother's love is far less glaringly obvious than a father's depiction of love.
