he was basically saying that this is how i remember my mother, her love her affection n now he sees her but doesnt get any of that any more because of her mistake, also when he chokes madhu says calls for doc showing she is concerned for him n dipali was more concerned about calling the police so she can get rid of madhu

i know i was thinking the same.. very symbolic.. he is acting for sure...
but i think he done thos for his mother to stop the nonsense
