STAR Plus characters share their favourite mythological characters

Just like Sandhya, Sooraj's favourite mythological character is Goddess Saraswati. They share, "Ma Saraswati is the mother of intelligence and performing arts. She inspires us to learn more and spread knowledge. She is also known as the mother of the Vedas. Ma Saraswati teaches us to kill darkness with knowledge and awareness and conquer the demon of ignorance and oblivion."

Viren on the other hand says, "My favourite mythological character is Ekalavya. He is known as one of the best students in the history of Hindu mythology. He worshipped his Guru and smilingly agreed to sacrifice his thumb of right hand, as a fee to his guru."

His beloved wife Jeevika shares, "I find Savitri very inspiring. I have been listening to the stories of Satyavan and Savitri from my childhood days. She not only got married to a younger man, but also restored his life."

The favourite mythological characters of Akshara and Naitik are Ram, Sita and Lakshman from Ramayan. They share, "The characters in Ramayana represent the human virtues and vices. Their tale symbolises family and are drawn from real life."
