I am really sad that I am not able to watch ED at the new timing but thanks to Tani, I read about it. Also I read Debo's views about the epi. Now my two bit. I live in a nuclear family. Watching a joint family in a show is fun as there are so many characters and a perpetual festive atmosphere. But is everything actually so rosy?
Look at Sushila, she seems to be sad about her not being a mother but is she doing anything about it. Like visiting a Doctor, getting tests done or opting for alternatives. No. She is thinking of Aniket as a surrogate son. That's dysfunctional and a bit dishonest.
Tejal had it coming. She was so busy pleasing her saasu ma that she forgot that her primary responsibility is towards Aniket. She could stay with Aniket in his room but even to take the relationship to the next level, she had her priority chalked up, saasu ma first!
She has yelled Moni tum kitni achhi ho rather than Aniket tum kitne achhe ho.
When she got humiliated by Shashu Baby for cooking up a disaster, Aniket stood up for her but when Aniket faced the music she kept quiet and waited for Sushi's approval before for following him to the room. To be a yogya bahu is her priority and now she is reaping whatever she sowed.
