CHAPTER 5
Rey couldnt face Taani, he left the room without even looking at her. Taani stood there looking confused.
Virat was about to kiss Maanvi, when she came back to her senses and pushed Virat off her, the push brought him back to his senses. Virat was shocked to see what he was doing, maanvi looked down with embarrassment
V- m..maanvi...woh...yeh sab...
Before he could finish his sentence, Maanvi ran inside the house and went straight to her room. Virat closed his eyes
V to himself- what the freak! Ab main usse kya kahoon?? She probably hates me right now. But i should talk to her
He decided to go to her room. He was going when suddenly he bumped into Rey
V- woah sorry
But rey was lost in his own world and he didn't even notice virat
V- Rey u ok??
He said tapping on his shoulder. Rey snapped out
R- er...yeah...virat i should be going now. Bohot late ho gaya hai.
He was about to go
V- hey atleast bhai aur bhabhi ke aane tak toh wait karo
Rey closed his eyes and sighed
R- virat please i need to go right now
He said sternly and virat instantly realized that something was wrong. He put his hand on Rey's shoulder
V- whats wrong rey?? Tu phir se pehle jaise kyun react kar raha hai??
Rey looked at him with helpless eyes and virat realised what he was thinking about
V- rey?? Kya tu phir uske baare mein soch raha hai?
Rey looked away
V- look rey, whatever happened, bhool ja usse, don't let that incident ruin ur life yaar. Aur tu akela nahi hai. Hum sab hai na yahan, main, bhai, bhabhi sab hai. Don't be disheartened. Come on cheer up
Rey looked at him, virat gave him a reassuring smile and went upstairs
Rey sat down on the couch downstairs, thinking about what happened in virat's room
R to himself- why did i do that?? Mujhe kya ho gaya tha?? How can i break my promise i made to myself?? Oh god!! Please help me
He put his hand down and closed his eyes
Taani was still in virat's room thinking about what happened
T to herself- yeh rey ko kya ho gaya? Woh mere itne kareeb the...aur phir achaanak se woh chale kyun gaye?? I need to find out
...
In maanvi's room...
Maanvi sat on the bed and closed her eyes recalling the moments she shared with virat in the rain, then suddenly there was a knock on the door. Maanvi looked back and saw virat. She stood up, not looking at him. He came in the room
V- maanvi...
M- virat tum...bheeg gaye ho...u should...go and change...
V- look maanvi main baad mein change karoon ga. But first u have to listen to me
He eagerly went over to her and stood in front of her. Maanvi didn't look at him, virat noticed that she was still embarrassed about what had happened between them
V- maanvi, dekho jo kuch bhi hua...
M- virat please main uske barey mein baat...
V- no maanvi, we need to talk about it
Now maanvi listened quietly
Virat took a deep breath
V- i'm sorry maanvi
Maanvi looked up at him with confusion
V- i didnt mean to go all crazy. pata nahi mujhe kya ho gaya tha. I know ke tum abhi uncomfortable ho, so i'll leave
He was about to go
M- virat
He stopped and looked back, maanvi walked over to him
M- u dnt need to apologize. Lets just forget what happened
She smiled at him. Virat was kinda surprised that maanvi did not react to it so seriously. But he was happy that she didnt
V- u know maanvi, i'm glad ke tum doosri larkio ki tarha nahi ho. Warna kya pata ke tum bhi aaj raat ke baad mere peeche par jaati
He teased her as she chased him around the room hittin him with a pillow.
V- ok ok bas
He said panting
V- maanvi, lets forget everything that has happened between us so far and start afresh
Maanvi smiled
M- haan ofcourse
V- so...friends??
He put his hand forward, maanvi smiled
M- friends
They shook hands...
...
Taani had enough! She had to get an answer from Rey. She went down stairs and saw rey sitting on the couch with his head down and eyes closed
T- rey
He looked up and saw taani
T- aap...aapko kya ho gaya tha??
She asked with her arms folded, trying to be angry. Rey sighed and closed his eyes
R- taani please leave me alone
Taani raised an eyebrow
T- leave u alone?? Rey mujhe jawab chahiye! Aap virat ke kambre mein se aise achaanak kyun chale gaye??
Rey tried to control his anger
R- taani look. Maine jo bhi kiya. I didnt mean it ok. Just forget it and move on
He was about to walk away
T- move on?? What do u mean by that?? Rey i respect u, issi liye main jaanna chahti hoon that aap ko kya hua hai??
Rey clutched his fist really tight and turned around facing taani, letting his anger out
R- what the hell is ur problem!?
He yelled which made taani jump
R- aakhir chahti kya ho tum!!??
Taani was getting scared
R- u know what, tum sari larkia ek jaisi hi hoti ho. Pehle pyar vyar dikhao aur phir baad mein asli rang bahar aa jata hai. Ur a bloody flirt!!
This made taani cry and she ran upstairs. While running, she bumped into virman. They looked at her
M- taani kya hua!??
Taani just ran to her room with maanvi calling from behind
M- virat, taani ko achaanak...
V- maanvi tum taani ko samhalo and i'll go see rey
Maanvi was confused
M- yahan taani upset hai toh isse rey ka kya taluk??
V- i think i know what happened. U just go
Maanvi went over to taani while virat went to confront rey...
