Yes, I was a little busy with a lot of things going on in life...I was stressed and over-worked, and jaggu dada's antics were pumping my blood pressure even more. So I decided to take a break ...but yes I have been a silent reader of the forum on and off...but just didn't have the energy to post anything...suchi it's great to read your posts and see you keep going...i don't find much of our 'old gang' active in the Forum...it's full of new people whose posts are great to read, but the connection I felt with you guys was different ☺️

It's great to reconnect with you all, missed you all so much 🤗

Yes, there's a couple of things Anandi could have done differently. She could have kept Shiv out of the whole Jagya business and her pains of still struggling with his presence. She could have stopped acting wife to Jagya, at least in front of Shiv. However, I guess she was under the impression that it's best to keep things transparent with Shiv; and when she acted out for Jagya, she was under the impression that she had Shiv's consent, and that both were clear about it. Hence her outburst today---where she again honestly spoke out her position regarding him. SHE IS NOT YET MADLY IN LOVE WITH HIM, but she has consciously chosen him as a life partner.

The sooner Shiv understands it, the better for him. In fact when he agreed to marry Anandi even after knowing that the marriage was for her dying mother's wish, he signed for that deal. So, he has to reconcile with the fact that Anandi will take some time to reciprocate his feelings to the extent he does, or worse never fall in love with him at all. Is it unfair to him? Maybe. But then it's his choice, and it's the choice and risk hundreds of other boys take when they go home and tell their parents that they are in love with a girl and they take an arranged marriage rishta to the girl's house. The girl may agree to marriage---but falling in love madly? That may take a while. 😛

Agree with ur post. Yes moving on doesn't mean falling in love with someone else let alone madly falling in love!

@ red - that was exactly my point except that i think her transparency with Shiv is not the issue here...infact that was the best thing Anand did. Her acts of massaging J's forehead, taking care of J's laundry, staying silent when J was grabbing her hand a hundred and odd times in the name of "acting as his wife" is ridiculous. It was as ridiculous as the reluctant expression she had on her face with a long pause in front of a whole group of people , on the day of her engagement. Anandi and the Singh's fell on deaf ears to CM's warning too. They let J stay in Havel even after that.

@ green - lol i think Shiv understood that by now.

On the overall , i personally think Anand was right in what she said. It's just that, i also think Anand should let this thing go and forgive Shiv imm without giving him long lectures...as she had done her share of mistakes in this.

Well kutte ki dum kabhi seedhi nahi ho sakthi.
I doubt if he will ever straighten up. I do expect him to go back to gauri and patch up for their kids sake and live a peaceful life. Hopefully the singhs will come to terms with Gauri

Her own actions towards J later, created confusion.
Yes Shiv made a mistake and he took for granted that if sets her free She will go back to J. But the reason for this decison of his was partly A's behaviour and lack of communication.
In my opinion both A and S are wrong, and these phases during courtships only builds the relationship strong.
A should now learn to express her feelings, while Shiv should learn not to take such decisions without A's consent.
Personally I am totally loving this track and every emotion captured by Shiv and Anandi is just the best. It is indeed a new beginning with the feeling of belongingness

The way I see it... S did not have doubts till he spoke with J and imbibed DS ka moh vicariously! Anyhow... when those new doubts arose, the question could have been revisited very naturally. Frankly it makes S look like fool that he believed J's biased perspective. Whether J is telling "truth" is different from J ka "judgment"...an element that he obviously lacks. How can anyone trust J's perception of any situation is a googly!

Oh - I am not saying A is blameless... She shud ve told S about DS ka palti! Honesty at its most painful

Shiv fell for Jagya's convincing lies. And though I can't completely blame Shiv for being so gullible, he was HAD by a liar who has had years and years of expertise in hoodwinking all sorts of people including his own parents and not one but two wives.

Jagya is very very convincing and the way he presented his case before Shiv - who was as it is not very sure about Anandi's heartfelt involvement versus her duty - Shiv just swallowed all that bait.

But having said that - Shiv still needed to have spoken with Anandi at night - the way they are so often in the habit of doing and that whole thing could have been easily resolved. How can one trust a third party and accept their word over someone whom you know ?

Welcome back Antara and Vasuja. 😊. It seems just like old times. So many oldies...be here more often - there are some pretty interesting new people.

The best part is now she is consciously choosing Shiv as her partner... That is the base of love... and very soon that marriage will be Arrange+Love marriage

where have you been..!!!
Had I known you opened a similar topic I wouldn't have written what I wrote in a new topic so here is what I wrote in the other post

This is my post to those who think Anandi still did not stand up to mark in their books.

==========

SOme people have issues, (roll eyes) that Anandi should not have been upset with Shiv because he was 'acting' mahan when she was mahan herself all her life!???

====

This is how I see this issue as to Why Anandi was hurt today and does she have the right to do so?

Anandi has been open with Shiv, as much as she could given her background and exposure.

the moment J entered.. she has been very very open about this entire situation. She has constantly been telling him and even in front of his family that she does not have any feelings for him.

Upon asking directly by Shiv, she said that she will nto look back and has moved on. She accepted his friendship.
When she was bit down , Shiv stood by her and she shared her pressures and unhappiness.

Point being she shared that with him.

Even when Jagya was ranting about Anandi letting him meet Nandu...She said that she had sent and SMS to him about it : Showing clearly she wants to be open about Jaggus arrival and everything related to him after their engagement.

Then when shiv said that I am amazed at your thinking, she was disappointed that , he had to hear about this matter from Jagya and not her. She tried to reason that is why she had sent the SMS earlier. Clearly indicating her willingness to be open about everything.

I am not going to blame shiv for taking such an emotional decision and I won't call it mahan as well. He just thought that he is letting go of her cause she is in love with jagya according to him.

What I do not understand is why is Anandi under radar every microscopic way. She was hurt..but she didn't blame Shiv. She just thanked him in the end..what more is needed/?

I mean despite of her clearly saying in words AND ACTION (her going to his house and clearing things up with his family ) the mandir scene, the chimes scene, the appoint with CM, and her saying that she gracefully accepts Shiv's friendship AND the payal which is the symbol of love, with happiness.

Shiv, took a wrong decision and well she is upset but honestly, I do not understand why there is still HOSTILE feelings about Anandi.

The truth is , Anandi is much more than what she was telling today to Shiv.
She stood on her feet LONG before Shiv made a grand entrance. She had gotten a name and identity even before shiv came. I am sure if Anandi would not have done that, shiv would not have noticed Anandi at all...

The only truth is, Shiv helped her get over her emotional turmoil. To which she is thankful and so are we.

So please GET over yourselves and stop blaming Anandi because she sneezed the wrong way. !!!

It is amazing that the people who say Anandi did not open up her mouth and were blaming her , today blame cause she actually opened her mouth and said things she was supposed to say!???
I am surprised at this biased behavior...Kahe tho mushkil chup rahe tho mushkil

Suchi you took the words out of my mouth, Anandi has been fighting her battles all her life. Everyone makes a tamasya out of her life, she stood by every beating and insult from DS, Jughead and even Gawari. She kept everything inside and along came Shiv whom she was very open about everything. So I don't agree with what Shiv did. He should have had the courtesy to ask her and abt her feeling in all this.
Even in the end she wasn't angry at Shiv or even Jughead, she accepts everything, in Islam we call it redha or reza.

A big hug to Anandi 🤗
