So in your book people like Salman Khan, Mukesh Ambani, Anil Ambani, Robert Vadhra, Rahul Gandhi, Nitin Gadkari should be put in jail because some so called activist took a press conference???

do you think it's impossible to destroy evidence in a country like india? also do you think you cannot buy anyone in the system with money???
i didnot say put them in jail without proper procedure...but then it takes years and years for that to complete...and people forget about the issue...atleast by exposing them you can atleast do your bit to the society...

Salman Khan: Cops shielding the actor, says activist

Mumbai: Former cop-turned-lawyer and activist Y.P. Singh Friday lashed out at Mumbai Police for allegedly 'helping' actor Salman Khan in the 2002 hit and run case. Khan had rammed into a bakery in suburban Bandra, killing one and injuring four others sleeping on a pavement, September 28, 2002.

Singh pointed out that the trial in the case has been going on for over 10 years; there is little progress. He added it is evident that the police department was responsible for delaying things.

"In the beginning, the trial court had ordered summons to 34 witnesses, but the police did not serve summons to 24 people. Police had informed the court that some could not be traced while others did not accept the summons. Only one witness appeared before the court. Police had deliberately not taken the job of issuing summons seriously," Singh told reporters here.

YP Singh pointed out that the trial in the hit and run case has been going on for over 10 years.

Singh said that it took two years for the police to present the doctor who treated the injured in that incident before the court.

"Also, Salman was absent 82 times when summoned by the court," he said.

"Later, even the public prosecutor started ignoring the case," the activist said.

Singh said that he would demand that a high level inquiry into the matter. "The commissioner of police needs to set up a high level inquiry into the matter, to show how simple summons were not be served from time to time for years together and witnesses not produced in court," he said.

How are you exposing someone by claiming you have evidence but reluctant to go to courts?? To me that is 2-min fame.

Yes one can destroy evidence but if you go to court with the evidence how can you destroy it??In the end no matter what court decides if anyone is guilty or not.

DId this guy did anything when he was a cop??? Nothing. He retired and has turned into a lawyer. Now he is gunning for big people without any proof. As i said if he is a lawyer its easy for him to file a petition in court and deposit all the evidence in court and make sure culprits are booked. But he is reluctant to do that because he does not have anything substantial.

As i said before if he had filed petition he would never get the publicity he is seeking.

My answer is in my question "do you think you cann't buy anyone in the system"? YES, YOU CAN..

He may not have done anything when he was a cop is because he may not have authority to overrule his seniors...he maybe under pressure from some powerful people in the system...he was a cop once so he knows a lot more than you or me...
