FITNESS MANTRA
Running on the beach relaxes me My workout regime:
My exercise regime is three-fold : 1) Weight training,which I do regularly about five times a week for two hours a day.I do one body part a day beginning with chest,then shoulder,then legs,biceps-triceps and back.2) Running on the beach: Twice a week I take time off to have a run on the beach.I also dance to keep my body flexible.3) Sports indulgence: I play a lot of lawn tennis on a regular basis and whenever I get a chance I play soccer on the beach.
My daily diet:
Im a vegetarian by choice.But I eat eggs as its the only protein source.I have a huge breakfast consisting of about three egg white omlettes with brown bread followed by oatmeal and then I have a protein shake.Post that,I have a fruit which is usually an apple.Lunch consists of dal-roti,curd,some vegetables and paneer.In the evenings,I have muesli with milk which is rich in fibre,carbs and other nutrients.Along with that I have 12 boiled egg whites.My dinner is simple,which is a tomato or spinach soup and paneer sandwich.Before going to bed,I have a protein shake with water.I also drink a lot of water.
My happiness quotient:
Im happy all the time.Im the original Peter Pan who flies high with perpetual happy thoughts on his mind and I am yet to grow up! On a bad day,I still run up to my mom.Its her presence that makes me forget all my troubles and eases my mind.
My idea of relaxation:
Running on the beach.It gives me a chance to be with people and yet not be with them.I also like to watch films.A good film always relaxes me.I think being with people is relaxing.I like to write.I write on things that touch me.I write poetry where I let out my thoughts and express myself completely and I think this relaxes me mentally.
