Khushi and Arnav reached shaantivan.
Everybody was waiting for them so that they could make further conclusions.
Anjali, was again , a little over-joyed, as she was very happy that everything is settled now.
Nani was even more happy, as she always liked khushi and dreamed her being Arnav's wife.
Amma and buaji were also happy, as they were worried about Khushi getting married. And they have found the Mr. Right for khushi!
NK and lavanya were standing with each other, arm in arm.
As khushi and Arnav entered the house, Aditi ran towards khushi and hugged her tightly.
Khushi was over-joyed, too...
"ohh, Aditi...I can't believe this!", khushi said.
"Yeah! me too..ohh, khushi i'm so happy for you!", aditi replied. Aditi was very much excited , "omigod, khushi...you have finally got what you wanted so a little Party is must needed!"
"Khushi bitya, will you both keep talking or come here!", nani ji's voice interrupted both girl's little chit-chat.
Khushi went towards nani and took her blessings, "I'm so happy for you and chote, khushi bitya! Thank God, you both got your true love"
Khushi can't help herself blushing, she looked at Arnav and he smirked.
"Khushi dear, why didn't you tell us anything?", buaji ji asked.
"It's not time to ask her these questions, jiji", amma said to buaji.
Lavanya came near khushi and they both hugged each other, "Thank you, so much. Lavanya, without you it wouldn't be possible!", khushi thanked lavanya.
"There is no need to say 'Thank You' , khushi...But there is a need of a little party", lavanya said and they both laughed.
"Sure, why not? and La, i'm so happy for you, too...You know, NK had a crush on you from the very beginning!"
"yeah, i know. He told me!", lavanya answered and blushed.
"Chote, when you were out, we all decided that today, instead of you, NK bhai will get engaged to Lavanya ji!", anjali told Arnav.
"That's great, di"
Anjali smiled and turned towards everyone, "So for what we all are waiting for? Lets start the engagement!"
Anjali handled the ring to Nk, and he put the ring in Lavanya's finger. And then Lavanya put the ring in his finger and there was an applause.
Khushi was standing with Arnav.
"One day, we will be standing there and will be putting rings into each other fingers", arnav whispered.
Khushi moved her head slightly up so that she can look in Arnav's eyes. She smiled, "And that day will come soon!", she whispered back.
Khushi's brown eyes had locked with his.
He grinned at Khushi, especially at the relief in her eyes and watched her, appreciating her grace and blond beauty.
The engagement function was successfully over. Lavanya and NK took the blessings of the elders.
"Why can't you stay here khushi ji, for tonight!", Anjali offered.
Khushi wanted to stay but she couldn't as she had loads to do and on the top she have to go office tomorrow.
"Sorry di, i can't stay. Tomorrow, i have to go office and finish some important stuff!"
Anjali nodded.
"OK, khushi, then come. We are going back home!", buaji called khushi.
Khushi don't want to go and anjali could see that in her eyes, anjali bit her bottom lip, thinking of what to do then she said, "Buaji, don't worry, Chote will drop khushi ji home. Let her stay for a while."
First buaji didn't agreed as it was too late but then somehow she agreed.
they all went back and left khushi there.
They all were sitting in the lounge...
Arnav went in his room to change.
"Khushi ji, you are looking stunning!", anjali said , "I wonder, how would chote had reacted when he saw you in this wonderful saree?"
Khushi flushed with embarrassment remembering what had happened at her home when she came out her room and behaved strangely.
"ok, ok, khushi ji, you don't have to tell! I was just joking!", anjali then said.
And they both laughed.
"So, di, what about wedding now?", khushi asked.
"hmm..The wedding! It depends on NK and lavanya ji..."
"What di?", Lavanya entered the lounge.
"Oh, your wedding!"
Lavanya smiled.
"So lavanya, do you want to get married soon?", khushi asked.
"Yeah, khushi. Actually I want to get settled as soon as possible."
"Well, that's great then. I will confirm the best suitable date of wedding with pandit ji next morning!", mami ji said.
"And what about you, khushi?"
As lavanya asked this from khushi. She blushed.
Khushi also wanted to get married as soon as possible and spend each and every single second with Arnav. But she didn't know about what Arnav thinks so khushi thought it better to keep her mouth close.
"I will have to think about it, La"
Khushi was wondering that where is Arnav?
It's getting too late.
After a couple of minutes, Arnav came downstairs.
"Chote, please drop khushi ji home! It's getting quite late. The Gupta's would probably be worried."
Arnav nodded.
And then Arnav and khushi, both went outside.
Arnav opened the car door for khushi and she got in.
"It was a nice day, right?", khushi said.
"Yeah...", arnav answered.
After few moments of silence, khushi asked, "Arnav?"
"yeah?"
"What would be your answer when someone asks you about, you know, about getting married?"
Arnav glanced at khushi and gave her a questioning look, "huh? what? why are you asking this, khushi?"
"ohh please answer na!", khushi said with a innocent face, that Arnav couldn't resist himself from adoring his.
"Oh i will answer you but if...", arnav said with a smirk.
Khushi gulped.
"if...?", khushi asked.
Arnav stopped the car as they reached khushi's house.
"if...", arnav whispered and comes closer to khushi.
Khushi closed her eyes as she know what is going to happen next.
Arnav cupped her face, his lips were inches away from her.
He was just about to kiss her when khushi's mobile phone rang.
"What the...", Arnav said and pulled himself back to the driver's seat.
Khushi tried to control herself from giggling but she couldn't help herself.
she picked her phone, "hello?"
"Khushi?"
"yeah, who?"
"It's aditi...khushi where are you? I'm waiting for you! You know i had just watched a horror movie and as i'm alone here, i'm getting scared. Infact i feel like someone is standing behind me!"
Khushi couldn't believe her ears. Just because of Aditi's call, khushi's 'golden' moment was ruined. And Aditi called for THIS!
"Excuse me? Aditi, you called me for this?"
"yeah..khushi please i'm getting scared..."
"ok, there is no need of getting scared. Just switch on all the nights. I'm just outside..."
"ohh, okay khushi...bye"
"bye..", khushi dropped the call.
"No prob, khushi! Maybe next time!", Arnav said in quite a disappointed tone.
"yeah...next time! and yeah...tomorrow is a little party in my Farmhouse...Nk and lavanya are invited. So just gave them my message."
"And me?"
Khushi smiled, "Obviously, You are invited too!", khushi said and they both laughed.
Arnav hugged her and gave a kiss on her forehead.
"Okay, now i have to go. You know, Aditi!"
Arnav laughed, "Yeah, go. see you tomorrow...!".
Arnav got out of the car to open the passenger seat's door.
He opened the door for khushi and she got out of the car.
She flashed him a big smile. And start heading inside.
I'm not going to spare you for this Ady, she thought.
