so I went to Luxembourg last saturday, took me 7 hours to drive there, only to watch Just Dance contestant Karan Pangali.
When we arrived at the Park Hotel, there weren't many guests there, as we arrived pretty early, we registered, and went downstairs to go look for the bathrooms.
There, it happened, I met a sweaty, dorky looking, Karan Pangali! He was walking to the elevator, and was accompanied by his mommy ( I think) . 😳
So at first glance, I just thought two random Indian hotel guests, then I recognized him!! I was dying inside, tho I was pretty cool out.
I asked him if I could take a picture of him, he told me that he was sweaty and that he'd take one with me later, he promised a picture. 😆
well anyhow this function eventually started with random folks making boring speeches. (Who the f**k cares? Literally?!)
Then they had what they claimed to be a ''pooja'' by chanting the chorus of the same song played in KGKG. A Pooja because the organizers claimed this was a Diwali function (we all know there was no diwali last weekend) more likely, they were celebrating it in advance, they should have named it Eid Function instead. 😕
Dozens of white ppl stood up and went to participate in the pooja, I asked my friend (I was accompanied by a girl from Lithunia) if we could go there and chant along, but she didn't want to, (I guess she was scared of the God icons idk)
Anyhow, after that a funny looking bony man with NO stage presence at all came on stage, and started singing some old Rajesh Khanna songs. 🤢
Karan performed his classical dance routine, he'had his hair spiked up 😳
He was amazing, literally breathtaking!!!
He also performed on some old school bollywood songs I think Rajesh Khanna songs, not sure tho.
😕
Well after that, the buffet opened, and it was time to eat. Of course it was Indian cuisine and some of the dishes included Butter Chicken, some kind of a lamm curry and other vegetarian dishes, I ate chickpeas, choolee, (Especially for u Karan, since u claimed that was one of ur fave's, I hate chickpeas otherwise)
well anyways, after that the organizers held some kind of a tambola's ironically tho they already most of the winners by name (FAKE!) 😕
After that I saw Karan's sister Nishi preparing the stage for the next act, she danced on one of the songs too, why I don't know. 😕
Well we sat right besides some weird English/French couple and there was this old Indian man, walking around looking grim and stern, he spoke to the French/English guy who sat next to us and told him exactly which acts would follow after dinner (even the french dude had enough of the no stage presence funny looking bony singer 😆)
I didn't give much of a thought to the grim guy at first, but I did wonder how he knew so much about the upcoming performance.
Time passed again, and the same Indian lady I saw downstairs walked passed us, my friend who is from Luthinia liked her hair, and that is when I took a closer look at her and noticed it was the same lady from downstairs who only spoke punjabi with Karan, when we' met him earlier.
Well anyhow I looked her up on the internet (God bless my Galaxy S3) and it turned out to be his mommy!!!
Karan if u r reading this, ur momma looks real young!!
He performed again on a number of faster paced songs and totally rocked it! I liked his performance on Mashalla, Salman that budhaa cant even shake a leg, Karan totally owned the number along with that blonde bimbette Alexandra Sarrafan (one of the Kspark dancers, and the main one he danced with that evening). They rocked it!
Gotta admit, I did get a bit jealous, cuz he was lifting her up, and pushing her down touching places, she probably forgot existed. 😡
Anyways, he also taught the guests some steps at the end, you know them random bollywood steps. it was fun, my friend enjoyed his ''dance lessons''s. I didn't much, because, well I can't dance at all, I'm stiff as a brick, and have always been like that. Unfortunately though.
And guess what? I indeed got a chance to take a pic with him at the end, which was so cool, cuz I never thought I would.
He even recognized me, telling me ''heyy, we've met before right? I'm sorry I was so sweaty right after rehearsal .. blah blah'' how great is that"?!! Being the dull idiot I am, I couldn't even reply properly, I wanted to tell him, that he should bring his show to Germany,
Karan if u r reading this, PLEASE COME TO GERMANY.
Anyhow, he was such a nice person, u know really really friendly, and sweet, and I don't know.
For someone who is that good looking he's totally grounded, I even know ugly guys who aren't this grounded.
So yeah needless to say, I was really impressed with Karan Pangali!! Even my friend from Lithunia said that he's a complete different person on stage and of stage, and that he's grounded and nice and all that.
Since I don't want you guys to think I'm making this up, this is the pic I took, of course I'm not gonna reveal my face because, to tell you the truth. I'm ugly. I was even embarrassed asking him for a pic looking the way I did and still do.
I guess I should have talked more to him, given the chance, but I was too shy..
Karan Pangali, I'll be in London in December and I'm gonna hound your fine ass down! LOL
Oh another thing, at first I thought maybe he'd eat too, cuz the old grimmy man who I assume was his dad, did eat, but then my friend said that they'd probably eat privately and not with us. I guess she was right, cuz Lord knows Karan's been doing a lot of eating lately.. xD
The the only negative point was, the desert, it just one Gulab Jamun with mango ice cream.
First of all, ?! W*F?! ONE GULAB JAMUN?! Who eats only one of those?! And who the heck likes mango ice cream to begin with?! 😡
So from what I gathered, Karan travelled to Luxembourg by road, (just like us) , he had his sister, momy and daddy accompanying him (I think those were his parents) I had my friend from Lithunia accompanying me 😳
I wonder if there were more family members with him? I didn't see his brother at least. hmm.
Oh and another thing, apparantly them dancers had enough time and stamina to party afterwards/the other day! Hope they didn't drink and drive tho :P
All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that he seemed so down to earth, there aren't too many men that good looking, leave alone Indian men 🤢
Oh another thing, I even caught him ''praying'' the female dancers were performing and he was waiting on the other side with a bunch of male dancers, and right next to him were the Ganesha idols, and he went there and prayed or seeked blessings. Whatever he did it was a private moment, and I thought it was cute, we could only see it cuz we were sat so that we could see right past the curtains.
