Jain bahus overworked and underpaid

Being a non- jain married in jains, my experience has not been good. The use of a good religion by these hypocrites are amazing. Did anyone see MLS using Mahavir Swamis name and chanting to support all his lies and deception.

It is true one cannot generalize to a particular section, but in north indian even with engineers and doctors, I find jains practicing untouchability, women subjucations, dowry, bribery, racicism etc. that has been considered a social crime in my case .

Again I am not generalizing to all Jains but merely voicing my very personal views. I can so relate to the show and to me this show is very realistic and wants women to be united and fight for self respect.

I agree with you this isn't a "Jain" thing. I know of this happening to all ppl of different religions. Its more Indian thing or rather as you said a global thing. I even know of a american guy who tells his wife "be thankful I gave you a car to drive. Look at other ppl around they don't have a car either" This is when he's a rich guy. His wife doesn't work looks after home & kids (which is a 24/7 job).

You right. It is somewhat Jain people in real life. They have two faces. I ma non Jain and I marred in Jain religion. But I not happy with after my 10 yrs marriage. Jain people think that they are best in world and other religions are not good as their. Not only religion but for everyhting like cooking, cleaning etc. This is my personal experience with my in laws and all their relatives. They like to hear their praises but they can praise somebody else who are more better than them. srry if I have hurt someones feelings. I am just telling my opinion.

I am not married to Jain but I dated one long back.. found him very selfish... on the other hand I got very good lady jain friend.. may be all are not alike...

es that is exactly what me and my husband were talking about..taking gods name and lying thru his teeth..budda😡

how is it possible that a Doctor would not associate with an untouchable? Don't they take an oath to help all patients no matter what their creed or religion is?

Jprasad - you will be shocked to know how how women (daughters included) having their monthlies have food thrown to them, cant enter kitchen and have to sleep on floor......It is so humiliating for all men to know of your personal stuff.

Also our poor sweepress is treated like shit for cleaning thier yuckies and are called bhangies - it is disghusting that on one hand jainism preaches respect life and these guys do exactly the opposite!!!!!!

I am not a jain...so i dnt have any idea abt the jain
But i feel jain is a honest religion

a lot of ppl in india still practice stuff tht has been banned years back.. but we cant do nythin bout dat.. nor can da government.. but da women if dey all get together to fite for der rites.. ders NOONE or NUIN dat can stop em..
