Show Ananadi with a backbone and stong not meak

What I see in our TV serials is the main female lead is so good she is just like GOD. She can forgive anybody; she can take any amount of abuse no matter who gives it. This is not good this is called stupidity. Show the female lead with a bit of backbone. Before forgiving Jagiya Anandi should have exposed him of his planning then tell him, I know you have done all this to get forgiveness from all of us and become part of this family. I have found a life partner who understands me for what I am and as I am moving away from this house so I would like to forgive you and give back your family to you. It is up to them what they want to do.

If the story line goes these lines it would have been good. Instead Anandi's character has come out as she either stupid or has partial amnesia.

So true, but who listens? Anandi fans are so overwhelmed by her being mahaan that CVs continues to make her character even more spineless and weak. What you said is correct and I am surprised no one commented.

Yes, I find it very disgusting with tv serial heroins. The producers and directors are males and using these heoins to promote male chauvinism.Do they think this is what the Indian viewers want?

Totally agree with all of you. They have really spoilt the show and Anandi's character is really weak and spineless and I felt there was so much scope to show a really strong woman with strength of character and conviction of her belief but alas nothing like this happened . I didn't know that there is a large segment of under 25 watching, sad to know what are the serial makers showing to the younger generation. I am close to 40 and i can tell you guys that even women of my generation are more emancipated than anandi and I keep on hearing from other women on this forum how Anandi has this complex or whatever due to the abuse that she sufferred , however since she is human i would feel that she will react humanly and not like some God who doesnt feel anything. Lot of us have sufferred worse than anandi and come out of it and have had the good fortune of leading a happy life without even half the support that anandi received from Singhs. I feel that she needs to let go of Singhs and stand up for herself but for the life of me i don't know what message the Cv's are giving to society at large with the current track 😕
