You are right that the change should occur slowly and it is actually occuring slowly. Yash is doing all these things just to keep aarti happy n wants to assure her that he is changed now and accepted her as his wife. But he is still not loving her or not realized his love for her. So though he has removed the diwar of pillow he talks about the trust bet them which indicates that he can not get physical with her as he doesn't love her.

The love will develop gradually as u expect n that will have passion n possessiveness. He will not need or take suggestions from somebody else to keep his beloved one happy as he himself will know what should be done.

Wow sounds like an amazing epi...most watch it later.
