TOI: Surajs surprise for Sandhya

As the festive season begins the makers of daily soaps gear up to celebrate the festive occasions with exuberance and fanfare.

The makers of Shashi-Sumeet Mittal's Diya Aur Baati Hum on Star Plus have planned a full-fledged sequence revolving around the festival of Karwa Chauth.

As we already know that Sooraj ( Anas Rashid) is planning a surprise play for Sandhya (Deepika Singh) for the Rangarang program held every year at Hanuman gali.

Sources inform that the celebration of Karwa Chauth will be in full-swing at the Rathi house and Sooraj will plan a surprise for Sandhya. He will design a play revolving around the story of Satyavan and Savitri with other members of the family. Sooraj will play Satyavan, Chaturi (Rashmi Pitre) will play Savitri, Chotu will play a Minister, while Bhabosa will play Yamraaj. Sandhya and Bhabho (Neelu Waghela) will be unaware about this play. After knowing about Sooraj's plan Bhabho will get upset.

When contacted, Anas and Deepika both remained unavailable for comment.
