The grand annual celebration of Durga Puja organized by North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samity saw over 25,000 devotees visiting the pandal at Hotel Tulip Star, Juhu. The new venue is open to all for the deity's blessings. Ensuring the convenience of the numerous devotees visiting the pandal, the trust decided to shift to a new, better and bigger location which provides the devotees with better infrastructural facilities such as a pleasant location overlooking the Juhu Beach, easy accessibility to the venue for all the devotees, abundant car parking space and a luxurious pandal with better security and washroom facilities. Every year, the pandal is visited by famous personalities from the Bollywood fraternity and this year was no different with the likes of Nana Patekar, Kailash Kher and Shreya Goshal visiting the venue. The evening of Novomi (22nd Oct) saw an extravagant performance by Kailash Kher and his band which entertained the audience with their famous chart topping numbers.
