Thank you for your kind reply.

Roshan, before embarking on his mission to invade Ravan's Lanka and rescue Sita, Ram was advised to first pray to Goddess Durga to pray for strength. Ravan was a demon King with immense strength, intellect and according to Indian mythology, Gods were scared of him...

Even though Ram was an avatar...an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and immensely powerful, as he took birth in a human form, he was bound by ALL MARYADAs and limitations that an ordinary mortal on earth is. That is why, he had to pray to Goddess Durga seeking her blessings to over come the powerful Ravan and his son.

North India celebrates Dussehra, celebrating victory of Ram over Ravan,---victory of good over evil, whereas significant portions of India, Bengal significantly, celebrates the DURGA PUJA aspect of it and Mantras are chanted seeking blessings of the Goddess to bless us with strength and courage in our daily duels with demons that all face (temptations, emotional / physical / spiritual challenges etc.)

The Mantra Sidhu chanted, is a request to the Goddess to bless one with strength! The right one!

Sorry for lengthy explanation...but if one goes into the deeper meaning of whole thing, its awesome actually!😛

On a side note, as far as I know. Ram had worshiped Shiva for the strength for the final count down of the war. And Dussehra is celebrated for Ram's victory over Ravan in many parts of the world.

While Durga Pooja celebrates the aspect of Goddess Durga's victory over Mahishasura. Two difference maha katha for the same celebration.

Anyways, such trivial details don't matter. But from what I know and have read, Durga Pooja is always celebrated for Goddess Durga's victory over asur Mahishasura, again it signifies good over evil, a different history all together, which has nothing to do with Ramayan. I mean you have lived in Kolkata, aren't you familiar with this maha katha 😕

The gist is that Dussehra is celebrated to signify the victory of good over evil, one can go with Ram or Durga depending on which part of India one belongs to and their beliefs.

Thanks for posting...

Shloka was correct n pronounciation too! Liked one SayaNtni & Ashka recited too! Each deity mantra has representation of some positive energy to overcome certain issues! Goddess Durga definetely is for strenght & courage, Dushera as to victory of good over evil! Really like Ram leeka act too n in bits some ckts were just hillarious lolzzz!!!

That said apart I dont like goody two shoes overly saintly Sindu ji behaviour, Im sure hez just acting such to give him adv in public votes n politics! Hez v rigid in this game, trying to outsmart bb rules! He already has gigantic ego now manipulating bbhouse hez petting his ego more!! Bb needs to punish him for his faults not whole house!
