Late Yash Chopra's association with Switzerland is no secret. And co-incidentally, actor Hrithik Roshan was shooting for Krrish 3 in the Swiss Alps on Sunday when the veteran filmmaker breathed his last. But Duggu paid a special tribute to Chopra in Switzerland, and cancelled theshoot to fly out asap.
"It's quite uncanny that Oct 21 was supposed to be Yash Chopra's last day at a film shoot (he was to be part of a special song for Jab Tak Hai Jaan). But since he passed away sadly, the Swiss government organised a special event in a train named after Yashji," says an insider, adding, "Hrithik and his entire family along with the crew lit candles in front of the train."
Duggu is very close to Uday Chopra, the filmmaker's younger son. "So he has cancelled shooting for four-five days to be with Uday. He took the first available flight out of Zurich to be in Mumbai by evening," adds the insider.
