Just read this one yesterday and I am absolutely in love with Geet's character. It's refreshing to see this bold and witty geet.

It took them both so much time to even acknowledge the attraction between them is what makes it exciting for me

It's as if a stage is slowly being set for them to reach the point of realization.

Geet was walking through the entrance of Khurana Constructions holding a dummy wedding card in front of her eyes which read

Maan Singh Khurana'

Geet sighed.It seemed as though Dia wanted to marry Maan as soon as possible, as if not wanting any engagament. She had seen how Dia was crazy for him. Bearing all these thoughts in mind, Geet came face to face with Maan at a turning in a corner, avoiding big time clashing with him. She immediately hid the card behind her.

"Is it your routine to always bump into people???!!!!!" he asked curtly.

"No!! I don't bump into people, I always end up bumping into you!!! Specifically you!! God knows why!!!" she bit her tongue really hard after saying that. Why does she always have to utter rubbish in front of him?

He studied her for a moment.She glanced sideways.Maan noticed that her hand was hid behind her.

"Tumhare haath mein kya hai? Are you hiding anything?"

Geet stepped backward, "N-No!"

"Show it to me!!!!"

"K-Kuch nahi hai.."

She felt herself caged between him & a door. Her breaths ran cold as she saw his muscular arms on either side of her. Her mind went blank as she stared at him, completely dazed.Something was wrong with her from that night onwards & she was not able to fix it. She didn't know when would she be able to understand what's happening with her...

There was silence still as both of them just stared at each other. Suddenly Geet recollected something.

"Aree yaar !Why am I hiding the card from him? Dia had told me to keep it on his desk!So..I should hand this over to him..hai na?"

She produced the card to him.They distanced themselves. Maan was shocked seeing the things written on it.

"What is this??" He asked sternly

"I-I did not do anything! Dia has written a love letter to you!! Khol kar toh dekhiye!"

Maan unfolded the card but he least bothered to read it!

"I think you are more interested in my personal life than you professional work!!"

"No! I am not interested in your life, else I would have read whatever she has written inside!Actually I am excited for Dia's engegement, ab meri galti hai ki you are her fiancee?"

"It's better you concentrate on your work than all this!! Aur waise bhi you're late by 15 mins!!!"

"You are saying as if mere bina yeh office chal hi nahi sakti!!Ah! I feel so privileged!"

"What nonsense!! You know all the employees are supposed to report well on time!!!"

"Haan toh thik hai na!! What great work will I do in 15 mins?"

"Exactly!! You don't do any work!! You treat KC as your private garden!!!"

"Excuse me?? I do a lot of work. Aapko toh dikhta hi nahi hai!!Remember how I did the presentation all by myself?"

" But that doesn't mean, you get to rest the entire month & not do anything!!"

"Kaam Kaam Kaam!!! Hamari salary toh nahi badhti!" she said slyly.

He looked sharply at her.

"You are a newcomer, understand???"

"Par things have become so costly!"

Maan was fed up now.

"Geet!!!Enough!! Tumhe dar nahi lagta?? You are arguing with your boss to such an extent???"

"Nahi!! Mujhe aapse dar nahi lagta!!! I am not like other coward employees jo aapse aavayi darte hain!"

"Geet!!! " he glared at her. She bit her lips , "Tum--"

"Maan bete!"

They both turned to look who it was.

"Dadima?" Maan was surprised.

"Aap Geet hai na?"asked Dadima, looking at her.

"Yes Mam!"

"Oh God!! Aap dono kitna argue karte hain!!No one will say you two are boss & employee!!"

Both stood startled hearing that. Geet was more, "EXACTLY what I thought yestarday!!! Now even she said it..."

Geet stood rather grimly.

"I take your leave Mam.." Geet prepared to go.

"Ms Geet, I hope you will be attending the mehendi & engagement ceremony tomorrow, Dia & even I would love it! "

"I surely will!"

Maan somehow didn't like it. Geet left.

"Maan, your shervani will be ready by evening. I want you to come a home early to see whether it's proper."

"Thik hai Dadima.But did you come all the way here just to say this to me?"

Dadima smiled, "Bete, you are getting engaged tomorrow!! Lot of preperations are to be done!"

Geet was on the way to her cabin when her phone rang. It was Preet.

Geet's face hardened when she heard her speak, "Tell him that I am coming!"

"Here I am telling you to stay indoors & you? Shera is dangerous & you know how Dad is! You just can't come here without Maan!!"

"I can't live with this fear all my life!!! I have to end everything today itself!!"

Geet rang off.

"I will not let my life be spoilt by marrying that Shera!!! But it's next to impossible to take Maan Sir to that place...Kya karu..."

She heard the phone in Maan's cabin ring as she passed through. Seeing him not around, she decided to answer the call, though it was not right...

"Rahul, lets go shopping!"

Geet clutched his hand & almost dragged him after her.

"P-Par kyun??"

"Tumhe ek din ke liye Maan Sir banna padhega! So we need same formals he wears & also you need to grow stubble!"

"Kyaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" he was baffled.

"And then you have to give up your life for me." she said coolly

"Are you mad??? Mein---M-Maan S-Sir"

They both came face to face with Maan on the way to the exit. Maan saw Geet clutching Rahul's hand. Anger surged with him instantly.

"What the hell are you two upto??!!!!!!!!"

"N-Nothing S-Sir, actually the workers in our new factory at Karol Bagh have gone on strike, but you don't have to worry Rahul & I will see to everything, hai na Rahul?"

Maan paused a bit & said in a voice of finality , "Agar strike hai, toh I myself will go"

"N-No Sir it's really not a b-big deal.I know a short-cut to that place, so we will be back soon."

"I don't want to debate anything on that!"

Maan prepared to leave. Geet did not move from her place. Maan turned around

"You know a short-cut right? Chalo mere saath!"

"I hope this is that short-cut which you were talking about?"

Geet did not answer. The road was a bit rocky on which Maan was driving his jeep with Geet seated next to him. She gazed at him all the while.

"Unbelievable.. I just took a chance to see whether I could make him come with me & he actually came'But it's a more big risk now'"

"You did not answer me Geet!"

"Huh'! Yea--"

Maan had to apply breaks suddenly as a man with a rugged look on his face came before the jeep.Geet recognized him to be Shera. Next a group of men surrounded the jeep, each having metal rods in their hands! Maan was startled seeing all this. He looked at Geet but she didn't seem surprised at all as if she knew what was going on.

Before Maan could question her, she leapt out of the jeep & walked towards Shera who had a baleful look on his face. Maan was clueless about what was going on. Geet was scared but still she to had end all her fears today.

"How dare you run away!!!!!!!" barked Shera, "Aur yeh kaun hai tere saath, you told you will come alone!!!!!!!!"

Maan couldn't hear their conversation but he sensed something was definitely wrong. He slyly dialed a number'

"Kyun??Darr gaye?Dhyaan se dekh lo, he is Maan Singh Khurana aur --" she looked at Maan, she was hesitant but she had to be courageous. Turning again towards Shera, she lied, "a-and he loves me a lot'! It's better for you to leave from here, else you will pay for it!!!!!"

"Mujhe dhamki de rahi hai?? Mujhe? Tere iss Maan Singh Khurana ko dekh lenge!!! You cannot escape from marrying me!!"

Saying that he grabbed Geet's arm roughly! Anger surged with Maan seeing Shera clutching Geet. He jumped from the jeep

"How dare you!!!!!!!!!!!!" Maan roared, his eyes were like volcano looking at Shera. Geet tried a lot to free herself from his grip but to no avail. Maan advanced towards Shera with his fingers forming a fist but he was soon surrounded by Shera's men who had rods ready to strike on Maan, just waiting for their master's order.

"Ha!!" Shera gave an evil laugh , "Biwi toh hamari hi banegi yeh Geet, ya kahu gulam!!"

Maan's anger had reached it's peek hearing him

"Leave me I said!!"

Shera began to drag Geet away after ordering his man to deal with Maan! Geet struggled to free herself! Shera was not able to drag her!

The men had started attacking Maan with rods! Seeing Geet in pain & tortured, his heart swelled in pain.Maan was in no away going to let Shera take her away!!!! He began dodging the attacks & then showing his tai-chai moves. Not even one rod could hit him anywhere! Geet was dumbstruck seeing Maan fight & so was Shera

"He knows martial arts!!!!"

First Maan did away with all the sticks & then he rained kicks & punches on all the six men around him! Geet felt as if she was watching a live movie but unlike the heroes, there was not even a single scratch on Maan's body! Lava of anger dripped from his eyes as knocked down all the men.Geet all the while stood gaping at him'. Then Maan picked up one of the rod & turned his eyes to Shera

"Leave her!!!!!!!!!!!!" he said in a cold voice.

Shera grew a little scared by now seeing all his men lying injured, but still was not ready to give in. He dragged Geet & forced her to run. She again struggled,

"Maan'.!!"

Maan heard her emit his name. Shera then forced Geet in his jeep & began to drive away.Maan quickly followed them in his jeep.

"Nothing will happen to you Geet!!! I promise!!!"

"You cannot take me with you!!! You will pay for this Shera!!!! You cannot force me to marry you!!!!!! Understand that!!!"

"Even I will see how come you will not marry me!!! Your Dad is waiting,uss Maan ko bhul ja !!! We will get married today itself!!!"

"In your dreams!!!!!!!!"

Maan was following closely but he was not able to overtake them due to the stony path & wild grasses which fell on the way!

Geet turned around & saw Maan. Their eyes met'He was determined to get her back. Geet then began to tamper with the steering wheel. Shera began to lose control over the jeep & the jeep was moving in a zig-zag manner. Soon enough, the police van came in front! Shera was shocked ! Maan & Geet both smirked'!

Shera stopped the jeep.The police told him to surrender & leave Geet! Maan too had arrived by then. Shera jumped out of his jeep. When Geet thought that he has given in, Shera pulled her towards him, & puts a sharp knife in front of her neck, clutching her from behind!. For one monent, Maan felt scared for her safety'.

"If anyone comes near me, this girl will be dead!!" he announced.

Maan was agitated. He took a step forward

"Maine kaha na don't come close!!!!!"

"Agar Geet ko kuch bhi hua,I will make sure you will breathe your last here!!!!!!" he roared.

Geet's heart missed a beat hearing him. Did he'did he actually say that???. She stood like a stone staring at Maan with the knife in front of her. She was somewhere deeply confident that nothing could happen to her..

"Oh my God!! Sach mein, yeh toh buhot pyaar karta hai tujhse Geet!!" Shera said in an devilish voice

Maan was shocked hearing that.

Shera continued, "You are very clever Geet nahi toh how did you actually make such a rich man fall for you!!"

Maan's eyes again resumed coldness while looking at Shera. Maan again began advancing forward.Shera was petrified

"I-I-I am telling'. I-I.. will kill here'.don't come near..s-She will be dead.."

Geet's saw that Shera's hand was unsteady. She immediately took this opportunity & snatched away the knife from him & threw it away. Shera was shocked. Geet freed herself & Maan caught hold of Shera. He was about to punch him but the police intervened

"Sir Please! We will handle him!!"

Maan was still not satisfied. He again raised his hand but this time Geet stopped him

"Please Maan.." she paused & then added, "Sir..."

Maan looked at her. She avoided making eye-contact with him!.He released Shera & walked towards his jeep. The police handcuffed Shera.

"You are very brave Mam!"

"Thank you Inspector!"

"Mr Maan Khurana had phoned us.So we could come here & catch hold of this goon!!"

Geet turned around to look at Maan.He was not looking at her. He looked disturbed'

Turning again to Shera, Geet smirked, "So sad! I had warned you previously! You wanted to make me your slave? Ab jail ke gulam bane raho!!!!"

The police took Shera away.

Geet turned to look at Maan. He bagan to advance towards her' Geet grew nervous & took a step backward'She knew she had to give an explanation to what happened & why it happened. Geet felt a tree behind her, Maan caged her between him & the tree. She stared at him, sweat trickled down his temple & his eyes stared intensely at her,his heated breath fell on her face'Geet didn't know what was to happen next'.

How was it?Damn nervous abt this part😕.Never written anything like this b4😳. Thanks a lot to all fr ur wonderful likes & comments😃
