Well - making the patient suffer for their patience is not just a TV-soap reality - it is also the reality of life and relationships whether at home or work.
I have tried being quiet and excercising patience and I have tried making a noise from the get-go. And my experience says that - a moderate mix of both is most beneficial.
If one is TOO patient - people tend to overlook your needs most EVERY time coz they think - this one will not mind - lets attend to the more urgent things first.
If one is TOO noisy - people may/may not do your stuff but can also start to dislike you.
IF you wait a bit and then make a noise - you get excellent rewards.
I have found that a lot of time - a lot of us are under loads of stress and pressed for time and in a fire-fighting mode. So unless - one creates a tiny fire and shows smoke, one may get completely ignored. Also the saying - A squeaky wheel gets the grease - makes 100% sense. If you don't voice it - you will stay unheard.
Leave the world aside - even my mom did not realize what all I was bottling up inside until I shared it with her one time. And why - coz my sister is the crybaby and is always demanding constant attention and creates all these dramas to stay centrestage all the time. But once when I just couldn't stand it and opened up and had a long heart-to-heart with my mom - she saw and said - "but why didn't u speak up earlier !"
Hence - Anandi's patience - bottomless infinite never ending patience - is not the right path always. Even a newborn does not get fed till he cries.
