What a splendid episode today it was!! I loved every bit of it. It was just perfect!! Brilliant job by the CVs and the actors/actresses.

SP upheld his responsibility as the head of the household perfectly today by putting Bua in her place and clearly letting Yash and Arti know that it is only up to them to make a decision taking into account their lives and the lives of all of their children. I loved his honest response when Bua instigated him to make the decision for them as the head of the household. He said that if he were asked to make the decision then the decision would be based on the right for the baby to come to this world since both him and Gayathri had prayed for this grandchild. He went on to say that it is not upto him or anyone to make the decision on behalf of Yash and Arti simply because they do not have the right to make a decision that would impact Yash and Arti's lives and the lives of their children. So, he leaves it up to them to make a sensible decision that would benefit them and their family as a whole. He was a perfect gentleman when he said that everyone including himself would stand by their decision and would not judge them based on their decision. He also advises them to not come under any kind of influence or feel pressured to make a hasty decision which might later on prove to be fatal and have some serious ramifications.

Arti as usual was her emotional self and has already made up her mind. If it wasn't for the doctor telling her that she would not proceed with the surgery without Yash's consent she would never have revealed the complication to Yash or to anyone for that matter. I have to agree with Pankaj when he asked her to think practical before making a decision. But at the same time, I can understand why she does not want to abort this baby because she looks at this baby as a miracle that helped resolve all the issues between her and Yash and brought back peace and serenity in their lives and happiness back in SM. She also looks at it as the symbol of love between her and Yash and would not do the "paap" of aborting it. Did the word "paap" have any impact on Yash?? I thought it did or at least I wanted him to feel the sting of that word since he had used it time and time again to call that night as "paap". Nonetheless, he did look like he received a shock of his lifetime when she clearly stated that she wanted to give birth to the baby knowing fully well that both her and the baby are at risk. He was trying to tell her that he understands her plight as a mother but he cannot knowingly endanger her life which I think is fair . Both KS and GC were brilliant but KS was simply superb in that scene. Yash is in a very difficult position because Arti is begging him to stand by her and support her when he clearly can't. It was heartwrenching to see him helpless and not being able to comfort her by saying that he will stand by her and stop her from begging for the life of their baby. It is his baby too but not at the cost of her life. It wasn't easy for him to ask her to abort the baby after developing a loving bond but if he had to pick between the two he picked her over the baby and that is him being practical and making a decsion keeping his whole family in mind.

Geeta Tyagi was mindblowing as Shobha today. We all know what a great MIL she is to Arti but she put all our questions to rest when she let herself to be who she really is and that is mother to Prashanth. She is first a mother to him and we could see her mixed array of emotions starting from disbelief over the news of Prashanth's terminal illness, to pain that she had caused him by ignoring his pleas to stay with her during his last days, to anger that of all the people her son is the one who has to get this life threatning illness, to sheer will and determination to see him get through this illness by fighting for him, with him.. Just like I had said in my earlier post that when she finds out about his illness she is going to die of guilt for being cruel and harsh to him and repent for her action of doing Shradh to him. The camera was focused on the friedship band more than twice now and I am thinking that Shobha would defintely question him about the band as she would see the familiarity in that band after all she must have seen that band in Ansh's hands.

Prashanth finally admits the reason behind Nida leaving him is because of his illness. What a slap on his face for his actions? But atleast, one good thing that came out of this illness is that it paved way for him to realize his ungrateful behavior and actions towards the people who actually loved and cared for him. The same people whom he had mistreated are the ones who are going to be there for him when the time is going to get tougher for him. He is a reformed man now but he would learn to appreciate the people lot more in his lives and would also be able to differntiate good from bad if and when he survives this illness.

Shobha and Dubey's determination to save Prashanth makes me think that he might survive after all. But the CVs can take it either way. They can recover him from his illness and create more drama with him claiming for Ansh's custody or they could kill him off to provide a closure to Arti'a past after the revelation of his existence and illness to Yash who then can no longer hold grudge against a dying man or against Arti for hiding the fact that she is a divorcee.

I think someone from the creative team might be lurking around IF becasue we all were saying that both Yash and Arti should visit Dr. Kurian now and get an update on her current status because things might have goten better or worse now and one way to find out is through the doctor reexamining Arti. She says the exact same thing to Yash and convinces him that at that time of the examination she was stressed out but now that everything is fine between them and since she is not stressed out like before, the report should now have better results. I think Arti will convince Yash for the surgery and ask him to sign off on the consent form. We can draw the comparison to the boxing match where Yash knew that it was a life threatening venture for him to particiapte in that match but still wanted to do it despite her disapproval and finally she was forced to give in. It would be the same here where Arti would knowingly want to put her life at risk and Yash might not approve of it but will be forced to do so just like she was forced to give in to his decision. I also think that just like Yash got out unscathed Arti's surgery might be successful and she might deleiver the baby afterall and in the process Yash might fall head over heels for her. This is my wishful thinking.

Yash/Arti and Shobha/Dubey tracks are going to run parallel and we can see both the mothers giving their all for their respective child. Both are going to be fighting for the lives of their children and it is going to be an uphill emotional battle for the both of them.

From precap, it looks like Yash and Arti are getting ready to go to the doctor and Ansh is playfully asking her to pick a hand where one hand is marked for happiness and the other for sadness and Arti picks the one that he had chosen for sadness. It was symbolic to show us all that both Yash and Arti are in for a whole lot of pain and misery. But, I think that's what is going to strengthen their relationship and make them come closer emotionally.
