Shobha Ma

I think the character of Shobha ma is a very complex character and she is playing it fabulouslt, yes she lectures a lot and makes independent decesion and is bold to face right and wrong . The emotions during that dialogue rendering and every little detail is so well executed that she should get award for female in side role. Amazing performance, she made me weep looking at her son in that state, her covering up before Arti the true feelings you good feel tell 👏 . It seemed she broke the shell of dis concern and despise towards her son after seeing his condition. She acted as true mother and mother in law a women stranded between two emotions.

I was exactly thinking the same about Shoba ma .. I always liked her from the start... the way she stands for Aarthi all the time... even after Aarthi life is settled she does not forgive her son ..
I think all the anger that she has been showing towards Prashanth is not anger but her broken heart...
If she has so much of love towards DIL how much of love and faith she must have had on her son. All this anger, last ritual is all the punishment that she has given herself becoz somewhere deep inside its always the mother's who are blamed when character of son is not proper...

U r completely right.. She is not a stonehearted person bt just a simple mum who feel betrayed by her son and also worried about her daughter's future.

Absolutely, I really wish all mom-in-laws are like Shoba. She is unflinching in her support to Aarti. She does not distinguish between a son and a DIL.
