and how exactly does an owl (a bird) give birth? lay an egg, incubate and wait for it to hatch, then long after the "birth" identify the gender of the offspring, yes? but to give birth to a girl in cirrcumstances that would imply it to be new news? no... harry is a bad liar. i would not have fallen for that.
... i over analyze, just ignore that.

Excellent story telling, but if i were to give you any unwanted criticism, i would say "try and be more descriptive in setting to help a person get a visual."
