I just logged in - I would like to say P motive in wanting Aarti back is not because he is in love with Aarti rather he is on the backlash from the severe dress down that he received from Nida. His male ego has been crushed and in an attempt to get a sense of self-respect he is wanting Aarti back in his life.

There has been no sudden realization or reason for him to assume that he and Aarti are compatible. Aarti was lucky that their paths crossed when he was down - because it prompted him to ensure that she got good medical care as well as provide Ansh a feeling of security. I will even go thus far to say that although he developed a stirring of parental love towards Ansh - he has to still show signs of committment and care towards him.
