sorry to jump in...
I just wanted u to know., my view on Shiv follg his Ajee like Mary's little lamb...NO...I didn't like this synonym..
Actually as per my u/standing, a collector doesnot have any say in a panchayat's judicial matters...Its the sarpanch who takes the decision after consulting the other 5 members. A collector doesnot have any say in it.
But then why is he there...As per me it may be for below...
1. He is new to Jetsar., would like to have a clear u/standing on the panchayat system., may be its the first time he is facing in his tenure..
2. He indirectly wants to be a support for the villagers., narayan's wife and his Ajee , giving them that feeling of security thereby having their trust in him enhanced...( this was actually pointed out by another friend of ours on this forum., which infact is very justifying to Shiv's personality )
All in all., I didn't find anything that would call for critisizing him for his MERE PRESENCE there...😳

His mere presence made the panchayat sc watchable😉😆😳. No argument there no criticizing at all
Lol Adi ko gussa aaya as I compared the MIGHTY Collector to Mary's lamb. The comparison was to drive a point home & make it look bit dramatic😆. But why can't a guy follow his girl when we girls have no qualms in following our man😕? When I was young I always thought the world is changing so maybe when I grow up...boys will have to leave their house & stay with in laws😉, but nothing changed. Even today people don't like "Gharjamai". And if a man follows his wife he is christened "joru ka gulam". So maybe to an extent we too like male prominence & dominance😛.

Well, he was there as her aid/ support system ...he was called by Dadisa only ( can a highly respectful man like him turn down DS's request😉). I really don't know anything about sarpanch & collectors administrative duties. But if my memory serves me right he had told 'A' once he has some set of social duties apart from administrative duties😉...so this explains his presence...ahhh the gigantic social responsibility 😆. What I like about AnSh couple is that both of them will not hurt each others ego but will not lose their identity either...way to go team AnSh👍🏼

Tina.,🤗
U got me there...😉
LOL...I was not at all serious with you..U know., after seeing so many other posts...critisizing our collector saab over his recent so called love struck picture that he is potraying., I just couldn't help but put in my view...in this post...as I too feel, u and me are on the same wave length and u can empathize with my views...😆
Shiv is one character that I have fallen in love with on the telly world, and I have no qualms in accepting same...😳 and Thank God., he is just fictional...else, my husband would have had LOTS of insecurities...🤣
And your posts at the end of the day...definitely add both sugar and spice...I soo...look forward to them e/day...
