Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in KANK

Apparently, King Khan was in conversation with some director or producer when our fly on the wall overheard it. Then the news of this coat ka kissa was relayed to us!

During the shooting of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan were both given two expensive coats to wear on account of the freezing climes in New York.

Both had been asked to return the coats after the shoot. Khan promptly returned his overcoats. But Bachchan Sr not only kept the jackets but in his characteristic style sent a thank you letter. Big B is known to send letters of appreciation for what takes his fancy.

When one of the unit hands realised what had happened he immediately informed producer-director Karan Johar about it. Johar, however, preferred to ignore it.

Now we assume that one of the coats the Sexy Sam (Bachchan) wore in the film hangs in his closet at Jalsa. We wonder which one it is?
