Ashuthosh was tired, he returned to his cabin and sat closing his eyes.Suddenly he felt pair of hands massaging his temples, he know it is nidhi.So not caring to open his eyes , he sat there by enjoying nidhi's message ?After a while he asked
Ashu:-Nidhi!! Ghar nahi gayeee??
Nidhi: No , I was waiting for you , but ranganath told me another surgery lined up for you
Ashu: yeah.You go home, don't wait for me
Nidhi:that's why I came here to tell you
Ashu: tell what ??
Nidhi: Anjie is coming to pick me up, we are going for shopping. You see her in laws are coming so ..
Ashu:-Hmm!! Nidhi little bit left
Nidhi: what???
Ashu" left side of my head is paining..Please message their
Nidhi looked at him with strange expression and started messaging
Ashu sighed and murmured Hmm , heaven !!
Nidhi: Ok, I am going ?anjie must be on her way, I will prepare hare chain ki kadi for dinner.. Come home soon?
Just then ashu opened his eyes and pulled nidhi close to him and gave her quick kiss on forehead
Credit card nahi chahiye ?? Nidhi smiled and replied Nahi..Don't forget..Even I am doctor now not an intern with low stay fund..đ
AshU;so what are you shopping for me ??
Nidhi: for you!! Perish the thought; I am not planning to waste my money!!
Nidhi giggled looking at ashu's sulking face, he looked so cute that she went upto him kissed his cheeks
Nidhi: Aw Ashuthosh ..It's very easy to annoy you , I was just kidding , why don't you come home soon see wht your wife bought for you..
Ashu smiled at her and nodded his head and replied ' yes I will come home soon, you go now and enjoy your shopping ..haan don't forget to buy something for your poor husband "
Nidhi smiled at that and went outside to wait for anjie.
Ashuthosh was all set to go home ?One last time he checked all reports which needed to be rechecked. Just then ranganath came to his cabin and informed him that there is bomb explosion in city and they need his help !!
Without giving second glance, he turned and ran towards emergency ward to see the status
On the way Ranganath explained him the situation by giving him brief on patients who needed immediate attention..Ashu was stunned for a second after seeing sight in front of him, people bleeding from head to toe were carried in stretchers..Some crying, some whimpering Just then janki bhai came to them and asked ashuthosh to check on one patient who seems to be fine when he was bought here but now lying unconscious
Ashuthosh went and checked, Janki bahi briefed him that when he was bought, he was suffering from headache and nausea..So they put him in anti nausea drug but soon he was losing conscience so dr priyanka has taken scan and gave him the report..It was clear that patient had major brain concussion so ashuthosh briefed priyanka procedure she has to follow to cure these cases and rushed towards ranganath ..Who seems to be standing with reports of patient who needed immediate attention!..Ashu made a mental note to inform nidhi that he will be late but he did not got single second to call her back ..
After this ,ashuthosh did not got single chance to sit as one or the other patient needed him it was nearly 3 Am by the time he returned to his cabin?He sighed and picked up his mobile but restrained thinking that nidhi must be sleeping so went out for final rounds to check on patients ..
Just then ranganath came towards him with worried face..by looking at his face ashu understood some thin is wrong and asked
Ashu: Dr ranganath , what wrong ? Any new cases which needed my attention
Ranga: no sir , Actually I came to tell you before ..but you were busy that ..
Ashu: what happened ?? is everything fine ?
Ranga :No sir , as you know Anjie and dr nidhi supposed to go for shopping..But anjie could not go because she got some work last moment..So nidhi alone left , we are trying to call her ..but her phone is seemed to be switched off ..
And more importantly the place they were supposed to go is nearby to where bomb explosion happened..
Ashu looked at ranganath with fear that what he might get to hear after this, He felt numb, empty all of a sudden?He waited with bated breath as ranganath told him that Dr nidhi is missing !!! that's all heard before he rushed towards door ..
