indeed it is 😳 wen u read about them u will totally love them and thats make me hate sagar pics more becoz they ruined a greatest love story...sacrifice is the purest and the most selfless way to love somebody and they proved it

@mini:

i agree...you explained this very well

"According to me she was not a weak woman but a very determined,strong person because the sacrifice she made is not so easy...granted she stayed in a palace with all the luxuries around but what use is material pleasures if you don't have that special someone to share it with.Sita Devi endured a lot but at least she was with her husband Ramji and when your spouse is with you any hardship can be overcome.The support and companionship of a spouse is so important and Urmila had to live without it for fourteen years.It is certainly not a small thing and on top of that Lakshmanji's promise"

Urmila's sacrifice is indeed incomparable, but I don't think that make's Sita's sacrifice any less. :) Even she lived without her husband for many years during Uttarkand and then left forever.
Urmila and Lakshman's separation always makes me sad, but at least they had their happy ending after the vanvaas was over. They got to rear their children together whereas Ram and Sita did not get to have that joy. :(
That's why I think every character in the Ramayana is incomparable. No one is greater or lesser than the other.

Arti,I loved what you wrote about Lakshman and Urmila having the perfect love story.I agree with you.It makes me happy that they got to experience their happily ever after after the long separation of 14 yrs.I did not know that Ramji considered Urmila as his daughter awww that's so sweet .My repect for Urmila has increased manifold after reading the part about how she chose to remain silent😭Lakshmanji's message for Urmila to take good care of Kaikeyi melted me.I had never heard of it.This couple was truly made for each other na.

arre your posts are so good yaar.Please don't even think of stopping.I would love to read more about characters like Jatayu,Shoorpanakha,Mandodari,Shabari,Vali,Vibheeshan and even Raavan cause there are so many stories about him that I am still unaware of.Actually I have a request somewhere along the way it would be great to see a post on Vali and Sugreeva's wife.I don't know much about her except for what I have read in Amar Chitra Katha.So it would great if you can throw some light on her character.Seriously I admire the research you are doing to bring us all these informative posts👏

hahahaha you went to a satsang with your mother to hear sermons about Lakshmanji...sach mein sudhar gayi aur hum sab paapi aatmaaon ko bhi sudhaar rahi hai...Keep up the good work Arti😆

In this jet age where materialism and self indulgence is so important that long distance relationships hardly work..Urmila stands out among everyone..TRULY an UNSUNG heroine...One cannot help but draw an inspiration from her unmatched devotion...Its really heart wrenching that inspite being married to the handsome prince..she not only set up an example for everyone that -LOVE INDEED TRANSCENDS the petty parameters of distance and time...but also proved the fact that DUTY DONE WITH PASSION IS NEVER FUTILE...It was her passion...it was her UNCONDITIONAL love for her husband which made her sacrifice to such an extent...The kind of reverence and the level of SACRIFICE can only come with great love and hence The immense love of Urmila and Lakshmana is also an untouched aspect..which should have been explored...

there is no comparision between sitaji and urmila...urmila suffered in silence for 14 years to fullfill her husband wish... but sitaji was exiled by lord rama... her own ppl whom she considered as her sons turned thier eyes from her its the biggest pain any woman can bear...and this post is not intended to compare sitaji and urmila😳

its about urmila thats it

i would love to see lakshman and urmila but the actress who plays it kills the joy 😳 amd i m more interested in the minor characters as one can find lots of literature on ramji sitaji lakshmanji and hanumanji...the unexplored characters fascinates me 😳
