I really like your story. It seems realistic. Anandi is slowly accepting the relationship and Shiv is not forcing her about the Jagya thing as well...this all seems like it could happen in the real show.

Very nice and a very long update. Poora paisa vasool hua with this update. Especially today, as there ws no Ansh in today's (September 13, 2012) episode, this update came as a stress buster.

Gauri In Haveli - Part 1

Whole family complete lunch together where as Jagya food was sent to his room. He silently listens to the distant chatter and laughs that are coming from the dining area. He looks at his plate and pushes it away feeling agitated. After they come to hall basant and bhairo leave for godown. Shiv looks at Anandi and asks her how she is feeling now. Anandi smiles and replies "I am fine now, the pain reduced a lot and I can even manage to walk now". Shiv warns her to take rest today or he will forcefully take her to hospital. Anandi bit surprised by his threat smiles at him and assures that she will take rest. Shiv smiles at her feeling relieved. Meanwhile Dadisa was attending call from Iravati. Iravati talks to her about her desire that the pair visit the temple. Dadisa was happy with the idea and says she will tell Anandi. Dadisa also adds Shiv is there and if Iravati wants to talk to him. Iravati replies she already talked to Shiv and that he is escaping saying he is busy but she thinks he might be feeling shy to ask himself. So she is calling Dadisa as she can convince them to go. Iravati adds, the sooner they visit the temple she will be happy. Dadisa smiles and says she will take care of it and not to worry.

Shiv for one last time tells Anandi to rest and not strain herself. He gets up to leave when Dadisa interrupts and says she needs to talk to him. Shiv and Anandi look confused. Shiv sits down listening. Dadisa tells him that she just talked to Iravati and she wanted them to visit temple. Shiv instantly says "Don't worry about it and I will tell mom that I will go after few days". He jumped with his answer as he didn't want Anandi to feel uncomfortable or pressured since he knew she didn't want to go. Dadisa was bit taken aback by Shiv's sudden and fast response. Shiv looked at Dadisa and realizes that she was stunned by his instant reply. Before she thinks that he was trying to avoid going out with Anandi for other reasons he clarifies "I mean Dadiji, Anandi is not well and its better she takes rest". Anandi even though equally stunned as Dadisa at first with his response realizes what Shiv was trying to do. She feels bad about how she said no to him instantly when he asked her but she stays mum. Dadisa feeling a bit relieved and happy about his concern for Anandi nods her head and tells him to go once Anandi is feeling better. Dadisa looks at both saying it sounded very important to Iravati and the sooner they go the better. Anandi feels bit guilty for putting Shiv in such position. Shiv smiles at Dadisa and asks for leave. Dadisa asks Anandi to pack some halwa for Shiv and she leaves towards kitchen.

Dadisa confirms that Anandi is out of sight and turns to Shiv "Shiv Beta, hume maaf kar do. Hum me se kisi ko be Jagadish ka yaha raha na pasand nahi hai. Bas insaniyat ke nate vusko rahne diya". Shiv immediately asks Dadisa not to apologize and says he understands their situation. He adds that he has no problem with him staying here and his only concern is for Anandi. He asks Dadisa how Jagadish is feeling now. She tells him he still has high fever and is weak but they are trying to get hold of his wife to come and take him. She adds that Makhan is taking care of him and that he is in guest room now. Shiv understands that Dadisa is bit anxious about the whole situation and was telling him more then required. He ensures her that he is fine about it and not to worry about him and to look after Anandi. Dadisa smiles at Shiv's understanding and feels happy for his concern regarding Anandi. Anandi comes from kitchen with a box and gives it to Shiv.

Shiv tells Anandi to take care again before leaving when they both turn to the door listening to the commotion. Gauri enters haveli with their parents. Dadisa, Anandi and Gehna look shocked seeing them there. Gauri's eyes fall on Anandi and she glares at her. Gehna gets worried looking at Gauri thinking "Whenever she is here she brought unhappiness to Anandi and sends a silent prayer to god to take care of Anandi". Shiv at first looked at Gauri and her family confused but soon notices the tension in the room to realizes something was not right. Gauri walks to where Anandi was standing, as Anandi was always her primary target. She starts shouting at Anandi if she is happy now. She got what she wanted. "Finally you were successful in trapping Jagat with your mahaan act. You must be very happy as you won and I lost. This was your plan since the beginning". Dadisa cuts Gauri and tells her to stop. She says no one in family want Jagya here and she can take him with her. Gauri starts shouting at top of her voice "You all act pretty well. You never accepted me as his wife or your DIL. You tortured me every time I am here. You all act like you are great people but you are not and I know that. So stop with this good person mask". Dadisa slowly asks Gauri not to shout and says they never did and will accept her in this family. So its better she takes her husband and leaves soon. Gauri at this point is very anger. Her mom tries to intervene but Gauri shuts her. She now looks at Dadisa "Aap ki vajah se meri zindagi barbaad ho gai. Aap ki karan Jagat aur meri bal vivah hui. Tab mere pati ko mujhse cheena aur ab phir se wohi kar rahe hai. Mei ne kya bigada aap ka. Kyun mere peecha padi hai. Aaj jo bhi hamara aur Jagat ki zindagi mein ho raha hai aapki aur aap ki beta ki vajah se ho raha hai. Aap jaise aurat toh maine aaj tak nahi dekhi. Aap ki matlab ke liye kuch bhi kar sakte hai". Dadisa was shocked by the revelation of the past as her flashes of getting little Jagya married for second time resurfaces. She always cried to herself for that mistake of hers. Only if she was sensible enough then and didn't take that step that day, may be Jagya and Anandi might have been happy now. She was never able to forgive herself for that.

Anandi was furious now. She can't digest the way Gauri was talking to Dadisa. Shiv was still stumped listening all this but was clear with one part though. "The women standing in front of him was Jagya's second wife and she is not fond of Anandi or her family". He didn't like the way she was speaking to Dadiji and Dadiji was just listening to Gauri with guilt all over her face. Just what is going on he thought. He was in dilemma whether to say something to stop Gauri or not. He decided to make Gauri ranting stop irrespective of what everyone might think. As he was about to say something Anandi walked in front of Gauri and said "Baas".

Gauri was stunned at Anandi's out brust and stood still for a second. But she was not ready to back out, not today when her married life is at stake, her love is at stake. "I will give a piece of my mind to her today" Gauri decided. Anandi warns Gauri not to talk to her family like that. Gauri retorts back "Your family? How are they related to you? Jagat left you. You are divorced to their son. Pati chala gaya chod kar lekin tum nahi choda iss ghar ko. Kyun chudegi itne sare paise hain inke pass". Anandi as usual ignores her taunts and replies "Jagya andar guest kamre mein hai. Tum ja kar usse baat kar lo". Gauri claps her hands "Wah Anandi wah kitne mahan ho tum. Mujhe tumhari Jagya ki kamre mein bhej rahi ho. Kaise kar leti ho Anandi ithna mahan banne ki acting. Har waqt kar ke tak nahi jati. Mere samne Jagat ko chodne ka natak karte ho aur mere peche plan karke Jagat ko ghar mein rakhti ho. Agai ho na tum apni aukat par". Shiv looks at Anandi expecting her to speak up. His patience was dying and he was clenching his fist to control himself. Gehna who knows Anandi will just listen to Gauri's rants comes forward and tells her "Anandi doesn't want Jagya in her life. She moved on. Her marriage is fixed. Tum tumhari gathiya soch apne paas rakho". Gauri pointing her finger at Gehna "Gathiya soch aur mera. Aap ki soch ghatiya hai aur aap sab ke dimag bhi. Iss liye toh meri shaadi tod kar rakha aap sab ne". Anandi cuts her off again "Gauri mai phir se bol rahe hu mere parivar ke baare mein ek bhi shabd nahi. Jo kehna hai mujh se kaho nahi toh andar ja kar Jagya se kaho". Shiv at that point realized what Anandi was doing. She was fighting for her family but was ready to take this women's taunts without a fight. But why? he thought. Meanwhile Gauri was sarcastically asking Anandi "Tumhari shaadi hai? Kis se? Kaun kar raha hai tum jaise aurat ke saath shaadi? Paka vosne tumhari asli chehra nahi dekhi hogi jo maine dekha. Kaisi ladki ho tum? Shaadi kar rahi ho aur ex-pati ko ghar mein rakh rahi ho. Sharam naam ki kuch nahi hai tumhe". Anandi just closed her eyes, flinching at what she said. That was the last straw for Shiv. He looked at Gauri and walked next to Anandi.

Anandi was surprised to see Shiv coming to halt next to her. She had totally forgotten in this whole commotion that he was still here. She felt awkward realizing what all he just heard. She tried looking at his face expecting to see disappointment or disgust towards her but she was confused at what she saw. He was angry, very angry indeed but not at her. She followed his gaze towards Gauri. She suddenly felt concerned by was not sure why and for whom. Gauri noticed Shiv walking next to Anandi but she was not intimidated. She just ignored him as she doesn't know him and was focusing on Anandi. As Shiv noticed that Gauri was facing Anandi and turning a blind eye to him. He just moved in front of Anandi placing himself in between Anandi and Gauri. Now Gauri was annoyed by this man who was blocking her view and interrupting her. She looked at him wondering who he was. She sarcastically told him that she doesn't know him and its better he doesn't get involved as it is not related to him. Shiv retorts back saying "It involves me when it involves people of this house and asks her to leave". Gauri was losing it now for taking crap from this stranger when her parents walk close to her showing there support looking at Shiv. Gauri shuts him saying "Who are you to tell me to leave. I am DIL of this haveli whether they accept me or not". Shiv who loses his cool counters "I am to be SIL of this house".

Gauri was bewildered at his statement and glares at him. Anandi can sense restlessness in Shiv. Thinking of taking control of the situation she looks at Gauri who was staring at Shiv. She understands Gauri's confusion and answers "Yeh mere mangetar hai". Gauri is perplexed listening to Anandi. She then lets out a small smirk looking at Shiv. "So you are marrying her. You don't look like you are from here so let me tell help you. Don't be fooled by her sweet talks. She is very forward minded for a village girl. She ran away with a boy older than her when her husband left her and came home after god knows doing what". Anandi just closed her eyes listening to her when Shiv almost shouts at gauri to stop. Gauri who is burning up inside for Anandi was not ready to stop. She starts to say something and Shiv roars "Thats enough. Not a word against Anandi". Anandi, Gauri and everyone else were just baffled. Dadisa who was in her own thoughts recollecting Gauri's words came back to reality with Shiv's out brust. She realizes what was happening and silently goes up. Gauri rage is at its peak now. Anandi puts a hand on Shiv's shoulder which makes him realize how loud he spoke. He looks at her calm face and cools down a bit. As gauri was about to say something he turns to her and gives a serious stare which makes her stop. She thinks for a minute and regains herself. She turns to Anandi and implies she is talking to her only because Jagat is important part of her life and she can't lose him. And she will not allow any cheap tricks from Anandi to separate them. Before Shiv can say anything in protest Anandi whose hand is still on his shoulder gives a little squeeze. Shiv regains himself and stays mum. Just then "Stop it Gauri" comes a bark echoing through the haveli.
