I watched the episode today and holy cow! what a total mega disaster. I enjoyed it, probably because I expected it to go this way and it was shot really well.
There is not a single person left out as collateral damage to Dadi's little mission of 'Sabotage Arnav's Wedding'.
Arnav - Dadi very rudely and uncompassionately pushes that pic in Arnav's face after hearing he would not want to know anything that would make him distance himself from his life, Khushi. But being from Al Qaeda, I mean Ashram, Dadi pushes it and effectively brings his world crumbling down. The wound that started to heal after seething and oozing for 14 years, Dadi has successfully reopened it and poured a nice dose of rubbing alcohol all over it. That woman, who with his father destroyed his mother, that woman who destroyed his life and forced him to become ASR from Arnav Malik, is the same woman his wife would have him call Amma. He is stunned and he leaves, his usual MO, I am thinking to his mother's garden.
Khushi and the Guptas - Dadi announces, even though Arnav didn't say a word, that how could Garima think that Arnav would come and marry her daughter when the one who destroyed the shanti of his home is her maasi. The absolute nasty vitriol coming out of Dadi's mouth was disgusting. The setting chosen on purpose, to mimic the exact disaster that befell anjali due to Garima's truth coming out to Mrs. Malik that night. Khushi is right now not thinking of Arnav showing up or not, not right now, she is concerned with the crap coming out of that old woman's mouth and if her mother didn't know, she needs to back this up. Khushi has been down that road and understands well how good intentions go awry and how easily someone can be fooled. Payal also believes her mother as she should - her mother would not have gone after a married man.
Raizadas - this is the family of the woman who took her life. they are face to face with the cause. Anjali, I have no comment, she knows very well how a man can lie but she won't face that because to do it means that she would have to apply to her own life. Nani is the woman's mother facing the one who took her daughter's place in her son in law's heart.
Somebody get me a hanky and somebody get me a danda to beat those who did this.
So, I come to IF expecting to see how we should all be after the villain and all I could do is pick my jaw up off the laptop. ASR dumped her, ASR backed away, Khushi should marry NK, Khushi should run away and never look back. Shyam has got you all misunderstanding and pitting Khushi against Arnav just the way he likes it!
Why are we not talking about Shyam? This is all to do with Shyam AGAIN. The reason Dadi is here is Shyam. He is the one who brought her because he fed her a pack of bullchips about Khushi being the woman with eyes on him, and because she has totally messed up thoughts on cheating only being the woman's fault (headdesk because nevermind the other guy who actually took VOWS on fidelity) she ate it hook line and sinker. Shyam is the reason we are here. Dadi is his tool. He got her to facilitate getting back in the house, he got Dadi to go against ASR, he is the one who pushed this Garima thing. It is SHYAM who is the only one not hurting here. They are all again his victims and pawns. His aim was - if I can't have Khushi no one will and I will avenge my humiliation by ASR.
If for no other reason - I know they love each other and they will find each other and they will do their saat pheras - I so badly want this remarriage isso that Mr. and Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada can walk through the doors of Shantivan give that symbollic kick in the nads to Shyam.
*note - as much as Dadi is a pawn to Shyam, that woman is an insult to the human race. I mean really 4 lions - a woman dumps her grandchildren 14 years ago, only to return at the behest of a slimebucket so that she can sabotage and destroy her grandson's happiness for a little revenge. Please, I need some bleach for my brain.
