Shreyas Talpade & Daisy Shah - in Palaash Muchhal s movie.
PART 2
Rani Mukherjee in "Black"
One of my favourite movies that Rani Mukherjee starred in was "Black". Rani played the role of a young girl named Michelle McNally, who is deaf, blind and dumb in the movie. She encounters various hardships throughout her life and learns the way of life through an entirely different perspective. The reason i would say this movie is Rani'z best is because she has protrayed a character totally the opposite of her with such convincing essense that the viewer can immediately connect with the character on screen. Rani pulled off such a difficult character with graceful ease, showing that she can do any role thrown at her...
My favourite part....
My favorite part of the movie is near the end of the movie when she finally achieves her dreams of graduating college. The speech that she gives during the ceremony actually made me cry and it makes one think of all the things we take for granted. She made Michelle alive and her acting in that one scene was AMAZING, from the simple tears of joy to the pysical hand movements to the walk which she learned perfectly for the movie ....only RANI could have done that scene
If I could change something....
If I could, i would not change nething in the movie. Sanjay Leela Bansali did an amazing job and i would not change nething, but since u are asking whether i could change something....if anything i would minus the scene where Rani kisses Amitabh. As much i love rani and amitabhs acting, i love the Abhishek and Rani jodi 😆 and i didnt like to see Rani kissing Big B...although that scene does hold importance in the essense that every woman wants to feel loved, and as Michelle is blind, deaf and dumb, she wants to feel the very same essense....i think that scene could have been left out...
Scene from Black....Debraj Sahai (Big B) teaching Michelle (Rani)
I have two favourites
Humtum- Great, movie, acting, songs, story and direction. Rani's acting was mind blowing. From this movie Rani became everyones favourite including me. The story was absolutely fantastic. The songs were also good. In total faboulous film. Rani's and Saif's chemistry was rocking.
Veer zaara- It was a emotional movie. It touched my core of my heart. I even cried in this movie. Every ones acting was great. Rani's acting was great. She played a lawyer. From this it prooved that she can play any sorts of role. Yash Chopra's every movie is mind blowing but this is my favourite and always will be. The songs were also good.
