OK Part 2....

My favorite Rani starrer movie is Hum Tum. I liked this movie because it was a romantic comedy with an original/unique storyline. The idea of the battle between boys vs. girls with Saif being totally pro-boys, "i don't get women" and rani being "men are just hopelessly confused"😆 made this movie really entertaining.

I loved how Rani develops from one of those college "kids"... childish in her cute way, where she teased Saif and made fun of guys in general (Ladki Kyon... to Gore Gore...), to a serious and mature lady, post marriage. Her jocular nature in the earlier part of the movie to her sad and lonely type role after Abhishek's death really shows how Rani is such a great actress, able to carry off such contrasting roles in the same film😛. Rani's acting in Hum Tum was definately superb; it made the audience (esp. females) sympathize with her along the way and portrayed well how two starkly different characters (Saif and Rani) can come together, and get past their differences and in turn really come to understand each other. Rani executed this role perfectly in the film.

My favorite part in the movie is when Rani meets Saif again on the train. It was soo funny when the lady serving coffee/tea dropped everything and Rani is like "yeh to hona hi tha" because everytime they meet something always goes wrong😆. This scene is also my favorite because I love the drastic change where you first get to see Rani in the film as very serious (this is after Abhishek's death) and yet there is light comedy in the scene. But the scene really makes the audience sympathize with Rani. From funny when they "accidently" meet again to sad when Rani gets off the train saying to Saif that "abhishek no longer is"... and then both parting ways in different directions😭... This scene is definately my favorite!!

Hmm... hard to say what I'd change.. The whole movie is so perfect... Maybe not drag how long it took for Saif and Rani to meet... At first the several encounters were really cute but after a while I just wanted the two to really get together soon😛! But still, I have to say all the meetings were different from each other so that really made the movie cool.

Part 2 -

My fave movie that Rani was in, is Veer Zaara. There were 3 main ppls in that movie, SRK, Preity and Rani, she was SRK's lawyer. I liked this movie, because of Rani's role in it. When I read the review of this movie, I was like, "ahhh..another one of those India-Pakistan theme movies", but when I did see this movie...I was soo wrong. I found the story of this movie very new.

Like I said before, Rani is SRK's lawyer, she helps him get out of jail. He was in jail because of a compromise/deal, to let his love (preity) have a happy married life, with another man.

In the movie, Rani acting as a lawyer was fantastic; she made outstanding points to the judge. She was fighting for SRK's freedom and for him to be able to return to India, he was held in a jail in Pakistan. My fave part in the movie was whn Rani was in the court. During the movie, I wanted to see how she would win the case. Also I liked the part whn SRK goes to his village with Preity, the part with Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan. My fave songs in that movie are Lodi and Aisa Des Hai Mera. There is nothing that I would change in the movie. If I could I would change the person Razaa Shirazi. That role is played by Manoj Bajpai. He has acted in lots of diff roles, but I dont think he's good in these types of roles.

I have to agree with Neha.. and say my favourite Rani movie was Hum Tum

I think Rani was FANTASTIC in that movie. The movie was a Romantic/Comedy. It was suitable for like your whole family to watch.. its one of those movies you can sit down and watch anytime u want without getting bored. It had its funny times and then it had its sad times. The thing i like about this movie is how they showed the characters of Saif and Rani developing throughout the movie, they were both shown as young adults juss exploring and tryin to get through life and have some fun, at the end of the movie they were charactrized as mature adults. I also liked the comedy in the movie it wasn't too cheesy like it had good-timing and it flowed with everything that was going on. I espically loved the little cartoons they brought into the movie, it also made the movie more enjoyable to watch.

My Favourite part of the movie was when its really late at night and Rani's like sleeping and Saif calls her up and was like i am really hungry and i'm standing outside your house.. he comes in and they eat and talk bout rani gettin married again.. They pretend not to know each other then have a conversation as if they were meeting for the first time.. and then they get really into it and start talking.. but they are actually revealing how much they love one another without realizing it..

Hmm.. like waht neha said its really hard to pick sumthin to change from teh movie as the movie was soooooo well made.. i can't think of anything i would change.. if i think of something i will add it in later..
