Khushi frowned a little getting irritated with the annoying rings. She stretched her arms to grab hold of her phone, which was still ringing. Finally after few seconds of searching it she got hold of it.

Khushi in very sleepy ton: hello!

Garima: Khushi! Beta ab tak so rahi ho?

Khushi: haan mumma, please sone do na

Garima: Beta are you ok?

Khushi frowned again still closing her eyes she replied: what will happen to me mumma?

Garima: Beta, but its already 10.30 in the morning and you are still sleeping? Wait! Did you take overdose of your medicine? Khushi I told you many times that you are not supposed to take more than one then how could you consume it just like that? What if something happens to you?

Khushi: mumma stop it, kuch bhi bole ja rahi ho? Yesterday I did not take medicines. It was..(she immediately opened her eyes and turned to see arnav who was sleeping with a slight pout on his lips beside her sharing the same pillow.

Garima: Khushi! Kya huya? Are you there?

Khushi: Mumma! I will call you back ok?

Garima: Khushi!

She disconnected the phone and turned to see arnav.

She was about to get up when she realized that his hand was inside the shirt which she was wearing holding her bare back.

Arnav shifted a little and smuggled to her more.

After few seconds he flattered his eyes and looked at khushi.

He smiled and kissed her on her nose and hugged her.

"Good morning" he said lovingly

"How are you feeling arnav?" with that she touched his forehead to check him. He pulled her hand and kissed her on her palm.

"I am fine, and thanks for taking care of me" he made her turn the other side so that he can slip his hand around her waist and pull her more close to him touching her back with his chest.

"Arnav! Your phone is vibrating" she said

"Pick it up"

"how can I pick your phone? What if?

"its mom, I know, pick it up" he said

Khushi checked the caller id and it was indeed his mom.

Khushi: Hello aunty, good morning.

A's mom: Hi beta, how are you both?

Khushi: Aunty he looks fine now. Aunty I was in his room yesterday night. She confessed nervously.

A's mom: Oh thank you beta for that. I so wished that you stay around him.

Arnav whispered: Don't worry sweety no one is going to scold us for staying in the same room. They know we ae hopeless and they know we will not do anything which each other.

Khushi: Shut up

A's mom: Haan?

Khushi handed over the phone to him and was about to removed his arms around her he pulled her again and trapped her with his leg now.

Khushi was shocked now. Widening her eyes she turned to see him.

Arnav wiggled his eyebrows once and pecked her lips. He took her left hand and held her ring finger and then put an imaginary ring.

Khushi was all lost in his eyes when he did that. She did not know she felt hundreds of butterflies inside her stomach. Though it was an imaginary things but it left a huge mark on her.

Arnav kissed the imaginary ring on her finger and then entangled his fingers with hers still talking to her mom.

He rested his cheek on her cheek and said that's when she came out of trance and heard him saying "mom leave in on me, I will ask her today. But I know the answer" with that he nuzzled his nose on her nape.

She giggled feeling a little ticklish.

"Mom I will call you back ok? Let me get ready for the meeting" he said and disconnected the call.

Khushi was about to get up when he said "tumko itni hadbari kis cheez ka hai?"

"arnav we have to go for a meeting, you that. And I really don't want to be late"

He held her arms and made her face him "not before you answer me miss gupta"

"what answer?" she questioned.

Khushi sighly looked down. She knew what he meant.

She met her eyes with arnav, who was now leaning on her to kiss her, when he bit her lower lips and pushed him hard with all her strength making him fall on his back on the bed.

Khushi took the opertunity and got up swiftly.

"Now get up otherwise your girlfriend will come and accuse me that I am coming inbetween you and hers like last time".

She immediately froze.

He was shocked at her statement.

How can he forget that night, when he first experience his hidden liking on her. How special it was?

Their confrontation about, how they couldnot stay without each other still very young in this mind.

How she came running to him just to stay with him whatsoever no matter how much mad she was at him.

He heard her next question

he closed his eyes and prayed to god that whatever it is he hoped that she doesn't recollect the ugliest part of her unconsciousness.

Khushi felt a little dizzy, she immediately sat on the bed.

Arnav looking at her state immediately went towards her and held her shoulder.

She waved his hand.

She closed her eyes and she saw what she was not supposed to see.

Lavanya and Arnav shockingly turned to look at fuming khushi advancing towards them.

Suddenly khushi fell on the ground, her cheeks became red, she held it and looked at fuming arnav who has just slapped her.

He was still holding her, she was trying to free herself.

He gave her a glass of water. After drinking it she composed herself and got up from the bed.
