Guys🤗 am so curious right now.. mahadev has long dreadlocks and the aghora's also have it. Jamacan and African people also have it..is there any connection? Or has it to do with fashion?? I know in tha past India was a part of Afrika and maybe we have lots of things in common with them? Does the real mahadev have dreadlocks and what is the symbol of his hair?Am so so eager to know the answer.😆

Ohhh nothing like that u know he is a yogi so he is samadhi Most of the time so no proper care for the hair and the dust wind cold weather everything affects the hair!! And u see the hair is kinda similar to the great rishi munis and sanyaasis!!

what an interesting question! Never occurred to me! 😆

I googled it and apparently many ancient cultures had this practice. It's not exclusive to india or hinduism. The wikipedia page seems a good enough place to begin...
