Puerly personal view. Please igore if you felt the other way. I know some of us have raised the similar view point.
In my view: this is the worst eposide ever. In our culture aadi shakti is considered the super divine power and everyone bows in front of her. What we saw was:
- Parvati is not Aadi Shakti rather just a crying woman who thinks her wifely duty is top of her Aadi Shakti duty.
- She has no control on her emotions ...there is no impact on her human mind even after so much meditation. Even a human being will not react like that...when a good human does something good for people she feels good about it.
- She kept on saying she should not have taken this duty...what?
-- She was not at all in a mood to listen to the prayers offered to her (by gods...CVs did not show humans. But if they had shown she would have same reaction) - proving she is only a wife and nothing else.
This is height of wrong message. Just forwarded and ended. Very bad script and concept. Initially Parvati did not agree, that was fine. But after she realized and knew what will happen...after that so much drama?
Sorry if I have hurt anyone. Just felt terrible with yesterday episode so could not control myself. I stronglt felt/believed CVs have made mockery of the divine power.
Does anyone know how to make a complain please? This is ridiculous.

hello everyone...

I'm forced to edit & remove the content of my post because my thread was discussing Mahaa Kaali, not human aspect or feelings of Parvati..and it got merged with another totally different one..!!!!!!!!!!

kindly forgive me...!!!!!

it is really rude that a topic is being merged without cross-checking contents...sorry to say it..but bitter truth...

@mnx12- I dont understand your point in saying these both are discussing the same..
I was speaking about Maha Kaali, not parvati or her emotions...

at least next time be kind with topic makers and try to know what they want share/discuss...

thanks..!!!!

Very well written post.
some addition, From DSS 4th adhyaya, 39th shloka.
" Iti prasadita devayrjagatorthe tathatmanah I
tathetyuktva Bhadrakali babhuvantarhita nrupa II
The Devatas worshipped Devi Bhadrakali, she blessed them saying Tathastu & disappeared.
This is from Madhyam Charitra, Mahalakshmi's charitra, who killed Mahishasur. This form is also mentioned as Bhadrakali.
The one shown in the show is Kalika not Mahakali, who had appeared from Ambika. When Devatas were worshipping Aadi Shakti, to save them from S, N, RB & co. Paravti came there, she asked them whom are they worshipping? Ambika appeared from her saying they are worshipping me. Aftter fair Ambika came out from her Paravti became dark, was called Kaushuki, went for penance.
After killing Dhumralochan, from ambika's froehead, Kalika appeared, she killed Chand, Mund.
CV's have messed up a lot with the story.
Kalika can not be called Mahakali.
This entire track is a case of very bad research from their side.

I agree with every word you say 100% true yesterday's episode was disappointing for me with parvati spending the whole episode crying and she is also going to spend today's episode crying which really made my blood boil 😡. she us suppose to come across as a strong woman yet for a little things she is crying us a river am so angry 😡. i think she needs more meditation she's too human actually a human would not cry over something so silly like that. I hope she will not be spending the whole week crying

I MEAN NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION

CVs have always ruined Adishakti's character. This is not the first time, they have done this innumerable times with Sati's character too.I really don't understand why do they keep showing human characteristics in a devi? This is what which irritates me a lot.Sati and Parvati have always been shown as humans inspite of being called as Adishakti.I agree they wasted the episode by showing Shiv trying to convince parvati and parvati doing zidd.Any godess will never do that.Somehow i feel the cvs have decided that they will show Adishakti inferior to Shiv as she is his wife and Shiv will be always shown as inspiring and lecturing Parvati on her duties.
This serial is shown from a male chauvinistic view of events.

@ red bold-- this is the best example to say you didn't read my post before merging... else you would never have mentioned it.. where in Durga Sapta Shati it is mentioned Maha Lakshmi is Bhadrakaali..no where.!!!😆

Viewbie's note:
Jamy, the heading of your topic was Mahakali, Parvati & misleading CVs.
The thread merged with yours was also mentioning about CV's wrong treatement to Aadi Shakti's & Parvati's character. A simillar thread discussing about the same was already posted as
with members discussing their POVs in that. Simillar threads are always merged or closed if one already exists as per the rule. The one posted earlier gets the first priority here that's why the other name appeared, but it was made clear in my post stating about merging.
I have read you post compeletely. The part of my post is mentioned in Durga Saptashati,
From DSS 4th adhyaya, 39th shloka.
which you call as Devi Mahatmya. It was in accordance with your post only.
In this forum we have members with very good knowlegde, each putting their pt across politely & respecting their views even if they don't agree, but never make fun of other posts like you have done. Your post was well written as I have mentioned, other member's would have loved it.
But since you have chosen to edit your post. Further discussion about this topic can be continued in "Why are they underplaying Adi Shakti" thread.
