True reason - Why Vikram and Neha are separating?

Vikram and Neha made a sex tape, for themselves, to look at in their old days. Somehow Sid (from nowhere land) gets hold of it. He decided to do is blackmail V&N with it. If they don't do what he says then he will make it public on the web. Sid threatens them to get a divorce, thinking this will shake up Ram's life (this makes sense in Ekta's mind). To avoid embarrassement V&N give into it. There divorce is going to shake up Ram's life and he won't believe in love anymore. V&N do not want to reveal the true reason to anyone hence keep it silent. They also start having fights and arguments in front of people to show they are a mis-fit couple.

Now this story line explains a lot of things.. the mysterious guy, the reason for V&N to split, and despite them splitting up they still care for each other.

so what do you guys think? What do you think is the reason for V&N to split?

I'm sure the true reason for them getting a divorce will be something really stupid.
