She jumped on the car horn, and rushed to the mirror. She looked fine, and thus she rushed to the main door, where the knob was already twisting.

"welcome home", Nupur smiled joyfully and rushed to him, while Mayank smiled back. She looked beautiful, "thank you, home looks beautiful tonight", he placed his bag away and pulled her in his arms, where she fumbled, "well, NOW home looks beautiful", she smiled slowly and Mayank tucked back her loose fringes, "kaisa gaya din? Bore tu nai hui?"

"umm.", she feigned a deep thought and then quickly kissed his lips and smiled, "bilkul bhi nahi!",

Mayank got offgaurd and kissed her again, "that seems great, by the way ..

"by the way!", nupur cut him and moved out of his arms, "you go and change, main khana lagati hn,"she held his arm and dragged him to room,

"mera tu pehle kuch aur plan tha", he pouted but Nupur pushed him in the room, "baaad main", she shouted behind and grinning she went to kitchen, leaving a smiling Mayank.

Nupur was anxiously waiting for him at the dining table, and soon he was here, drying his hair, "so today we have the first dish", he grinned and filled his spoon while Nupur even forgot to smile, until he ate the bite, chewed it and eaten it.

"tum b kha lo, thanda ho jayega", he grinned taking another bite and Nupur bent on her plate, " jab khana khaya jata hai tu tareef b karni hoti hai", she fidgeted with her spoon and Mayank ate some more quietly, "jab khana bht acha banta hai tu usey chup chap khaya jata hai".

Nupur looked up to find him suppressing smile and eating with a very serious expression, and thus suppressing her own smile, she started eating slowly, "ap ka din kaisa gaya?",

"hmm .. thek tha .. office main din bus thek hi guzarata hai", he smiled miscehviously and Nupur blushed till the roots of her hair, "acha? Koi hot larkiyan nahi hain ap k office main", she grinned and got up and took his plate when she was pulled in his lap, "nahi!, per merey ghar pe bht hot biwi hai meri", he snuggled to her neck and feeling weak she sighed, "well, ap ki hot biwi tu kal ayi hai, us sey pehle ghar pe kya hota tha?", she grinned and giggling Mayank pulled her cheek, "tumhain kya lagta hai? Kya hota hoga?

"umm", she bit her lip, observing his expressions, "girlfriends tu pakka atin hongi, yahan tu culture haina asie aney jane ka", she blinked and shaking his head he hugged her, "culture hai, but meri shaadi k baad koi girlfriend nahi thi"

"matlb pehle thi?", she got up, involuntary giving a bewildered expression and Mayank broke in a giggle, "relax Nupur, tum tu aise shock ho rahi ho jaise girlfriends nahi maine ye bataya k merey shaadi se pehle bache hain", grinning he got up and took his plate to the sink, and although Nupur very well knew that all this talk was mere humor, but still his casual ways of talking about all these things was bothering her/

"well, yahan tu shaadi se pehle bachon ka bhi culture hai", she followed him in kitchen, although trying to comment casually but couldn't hold back the disgust in her tone.

"jee beautiful, yahan us ka bhi culture hai", he hugged her from back and kissed her head, "but trust me, maine aisa waisa koi culture follow nai kiya hai, haan girlfrinds thin, but wo tu yahan sab ki hotin hain, so meri bhi thin, simple"

"haan tu its okay, maine kab kaha k ap clarification do .. I .. I have no problems", she tried saying jubilantly but she knew how alien her voice as sounding.

"Nupur!", Mayank left her and made her turn, "what?, are u suspecting me? Or what?"

H asked strictly and Nupur faced a dilemma of what to answer, no doubt all this girlfriend and kids talk had made her feel doubtful, but she also knew Mayank, she wanted to trust him. He lived here, she knew he lived here, she had no right to scrutinize his living area like this, and moreover, she herself was here to live with him, and one more thing she realized in this nano second was that she trusted Mayank, but hated the western culture,

"I am not suspecting .. main tu bus aise hi ..", she tried too hard which made the wetness in her eyes visible

"don't tell me!", Mayank gasped and pulled her close from waist, "ro kyun rahi ho?"

"ap ne danta ..", she merely whispered with eyes lowered and Mayank just sighed, looking at her cute expression.
