TaaRey OS: Intezar
It was her birthday. The party, at the hotel by the lake, was buzzing. She was standing with her friends wearing a beautiful sleek white shimmering dress. Taani smiled at her friends and at the crowd, after all Sharon went through so much trouble planning her party. Taani had told Sharon that she didn't want a party but Sharon was Sharon she told Taani that she wasn't going to miss out on this opportunity to throw her a party. She looked around and saw him and looked away and smiled as they brought the cake out.
Rey looked around the party and lost himself while looking at Taani. He saw her glance at him but she quickly looked away. He groaned as he realized that she was avoiding him. He just had to blurt out that he loved her yesterday. After rejecting her love, being angry at her for her relationship with Shivam, being angry that she didn't tell him it was fake, and then accusing her of not caring about him he had blurted out that he loved her. Rey knew that Taani loved him too, she told him that time when he burst and told her to get a life. Rey grimaced at the memory and looked at Taani wondering when he would get a chance to talk to her today. It was her special day yet the smile she was wearing was fake from the looks of it Rey could tell that she wanted to be left alone.
"Come on Taani make a wish." Sharon said smiling as they all sang happy birthday to her. Rey looked at Taani and instantly knew that she wasn't going to make a wish. Taani smiled at her friends and blew out her candle as everyone started feeding her cake.
After cake feeding Taani watched her friends talk and laugh and decided that she wanted to be alone and she left the hotel and walked along the garden until she reached the lake. Looking back at the lights and the fading noise she smiled and sat by the lake dipping her legs along the water. "I wish," She said to herself, "That Rey gets everything he ever wants."
Rey looked around the hotel and started asking around for Taani seeing that she wasn't there. He saw Swayam and was about to ask him but he didn't want to worry him. He walked out towards the garden and saw her dangling her legs in the water. "I wish that Rey gets everything he wants." Taani said making Rey smile. That confirmed it for him she still loved him and now it was time that he made her his.
"It's peaceful here isn't it." Rey said making Taani turn around.
"Yeah." She said nervously before getting up and walking. Rey sighed and grabbed her arm and pulled her back towards him.
"You've been avoiding me Taani." Rey said blocking her path while keeping his grip on her arm.
"How dare you let go!" Taani yelled annoyed more at herself knowing that if she stayed longer her feelings would show on her face.
"Taani what's wrong." Rey said looking at her concerned, "Maine aisa kya kia ke tum mujhse baat tak nahi kar rahi ho." he asked her.
"Please Rey mujhe jane do." Taani said.
"Not until you tell me what's wrong." Rey said stubbornly. Rey saw Taani wasn't talking so he softly said, "I've been wanting to tell you this for a long time and it came out wrong yesterday. It's your birthday today so it's the best time to tell you Taani I love you." Rey said looking into her eyes as they were pulled into an eye lock. "I know that I was rude the first time you told me and I was angry about Shivam and everything but Taani I love you and now that's all that really matters." Rey said.
Breaking out of the eye lock Taani pushed him away, "Rey yeh aap kya. You don't love me and I don't love you." Taani said the words he once said to her back to him. "That's become pretty clear to me." She said.
Rey, annoyed, trapped her in between him and a tree trunk by slamming his hands around her onto the tree. "Oh really." he asked with a smirk. "Agar aisa hai toh jab main tumhare paas aata hoon tumhe kuch nahi hota?" he asked her. Taani couldn't do anything but get lost in his gray eyes.
"Jab main tumhe dekhta hoon tab tumhe kuch nahi hota?" Rey asked eye locked with Taani. "I know that you love me too Taani just say it." He pressed already knowing how much time he wasted by not accepting the fact that he loved her before.
"No I don't." Taani said scared to show her feelings as she pushed him away and tried to run.
Rey grabbed her arm once again and said, "Taani main jaanta hoon ke tum bhi mujhse pyaar karti hoon. And I will make you say that you love me today before 12."
He pulled her into him and embraced another eye lock, "Mujhe tumhare 'I love you' ka intezar rahega." He said kissing her cheek as he let go.
Taani looked at Rey shocked and ran away from the garden before her feelings could pour out of her.
Rey watched her run and smiled. "Intezar hai Taani tumhare pyaar ke izhaar ka."
