This reminded of Friends, season two. While Joey, Chandler, Monica, Rachel, Ross and Phoebe, are watching Monica and Rachels old Prom video (getting ready), Rachels date Chip doesnt show up, so Jack (Ross and Monica's Dad) suggests Ross take Rachel to the Prom. Ross gets ready and makes his way down - but then Rachel and Monica leave with thier dates, leaving Ross standing. Without either Rachel or Monica knowing of Ross' gesture.

The point being; Rachel gets up and goes and kisses Ross; and Phoebe refers to Ross and Rachels Lobster...

Anyone remember that episode?
