Megha has not even completed a week of marriage but to me it looks that she has readily assumed the role of the senior spouse and loves calling the shots. She has become the Mother Hen as well as the Finance Ministry of the family - all this has come so naturally and so quickly to her. She behaves as if she is the only mature person in the family of 4 and that she has to lead and guide them on all matters and she cant leave anything to Mohan. And she often treats Mohan as an irresponsible bachcha, almost like another petulant Addu. If you notice she has already twice referred to him as a bachcha (while sleeping on the swing and during the fight over dinner) and twice said that he was like Addu. And what's the point of saying 'aap' if she ends her sentences to Mohan with ,,, achcha and theek hai? like a parent reminding a kid one more time what to do.
Of course, Mohan too has not helped his own cause by doing careless things like putting Addu on the wrong bus, misplacing luggage and buying a huge new fridge when he could get the old one repaired. And borrowing from Guru is not a comfortable idea at all for Megha which is understandable. But then Mohan was so loving and caring when he wanted to surprise Megha with the extra room I really felt bad when Megha chided him for extra expenses and was so luke warm in her response. It was just the other day that Mohan showed his immense maturity and depth of his love for Megha and her feelings when he kept aside his star reporter trophy and instead put Amar's photograph there.
Surely, Megha should understand and appreciate this maturity in Mohan (despite his cavalier outer self) and respect him for that and treat him on par. Rather than being bossy and treating him like a kid. And Mohan has already twice told her ki 'meri maa mat bano'. Hope she understands this fast.
