LOL so I made this post for tumblr but I thought I would post it on the forum too since its been ages ive posted here, like not since 2010 I think. Ahh haters please stay away cause I know people love to hate on this show from my previous experiences and these are solely my thoughts and opinions !
I will forever love this show for the rest of my life and I just want to pour my heart out on everything today. DMG was my first ever indian show I ever fell in love with and fell for and i love everything about this show if you pretend season 2 never happend
Lemme please take this time to appriciate all the characters in DMG season 1, Sapna, Atul, Anjali, Rahul, Muskaan.Keerthi, Shubhankar. Abhi, Nikki, Minnie, Gappu, Nana, Lovely,Billy, Annie,Dadi, (gah ill even add shanky and padma even tho i hated them eventually) and all the other people i probably missed out now. Honestly Atul, I love you so friggin much you cutie and your ped paudhe and you were just a heart of gold and ILOVEYOUCHAMP forever, Anjali LOL man you were a meanie but I love you so much still like you were there throughout everything and you really did love Ridzie tho. Rahul omg Raouul, i love you bro. Why did you have to be such a SP bahu and just leave Muskaan. Honestly you were an amazing friend, but I will never forgive you for leaving Muskaan, it was stupid. Muskaan, OMG Muskiii, how i love you so much you Sherni, you were the life of the laughter in DMG, and I loved you so much chadda! Nikki, omg i cant tell you how amazing of a friend you were to Armaan, honestly, youre just the bestest friend ever and IK you loved Armaan but you were so selfless and just god bless you and your nautanki child. Abhi, omg you khadoos dude, LOL, I loved you so much for your nok jhoks with Armaan, lol you da man. I will forever ship NikBhi & I hate how you guys just randomly left but NikBhi, you guys needed your own show for your chemistry. Shubhakar,Keerthi, you guys were just too cute for keeping up with all the interns and you guys were adorabless. Can I also write about Nana! MY MARATHI SWAGER PERSON. I love you so much and when you said Apple,omg so many feels, & i love when you would randomly sing "ye re ye re pausa tula deto paisa" haha gosh i loved you, and i loved how you never left Sanjeevani.
Armaan and Riddhima. I think no one can beat AR's love story in terms of what they have gone through, the nightmares the fans had to go through, and just the whole AR fandom was nuts but the couple themselves were amazing.BASKET AND ARMAAN. Forgetting about KaSh, KaSu, KaJen, I always try to see them as AR forgetting the actors, (except for KSG, he MADE DMG) They were so real, their fights, their love, and just everything. People think i'm really weird when I say this but I loved ALL of the Riddhimas. Shilpa started off as the Riddhima and she was so darn good! KaSh had burning chemistry and they did the nok jhoks, the emotional scenes, the romance so perfectly. IK a lot of people left the show, after Shilpa left. I never watched the show as it came, I watched it a lot later on YT, but I decided to watch it for one man, KSG, who made the best character of TV, Armaan Malik. Anyways, when Suku started she was really bad, LOL I didnt like her really but after the AR 2nd confession came and we had the raat ka nasha seqeunce, I felt like she improved over night by leaps and I totally loved KaSu! KaSu were the main lovey dovey phase of AR, and honestly how cute were they! Their nok jhoks were adorable and Armaan being such a majnoo, HAYEEE. I think that Armaan was DMG, like screw the rest, he made f**king DMG lol. back to my boring ramble, I dont think that the confrontation when AR were caught by Shanky coulld have been more perfect with the RNBDJ song seqeunce like seriously what da fudge man, I watch that scene every time and BAWL my eyes out at AR perfection in white. Then we had Jennifer come in to play Riddhima and omg can I say that she was like freaking perfecttt. Kaisa hai yeh khumar, like please lemme die of cuteness. KaJen were brilliant. Though, I didnt like how the AR relationship was transitioning through and the whole memory loss thing was weird but AR made it all wonderful until September 2009, & watching the rest made me friggin bang my head but lets not go there. After all the stupid shit and butchering of love and characters, AR finally got together and dill mill gayeee <3
Also let us appriciate the most epic songs of DMG, Ishq Leta Hai, Asmaani Rang Ho and Kaisa hai yeh Khumar. WHAT PERFECTION IT WAS and Raju Singh, youre a freaking brilliant man. These songs are still on my ipod and i listen to them all the time.
But these last few lines , is what I would like to dedicate to mr.karan singh grover. you my love MADE DMG.Honestly Armaan was the ulitmate charater of indian tv, no one can beat Armaan. You made us laugh, cry, blush, faint-wa 275827582795283 times and everything in between, there were just uncountable feels that you gave, & I feel that you never got the recognition you deserved for Armaan which is sad cause we all know SO wasnt recognized but yeah,Armaan was the BEST charcter ever.
DMG was one hell of a crazy ride when you think about season 2, but i personally dont consider season 2 to be worth calling DMG, but yeah season 1 was my DMG, the DMG I loved, the AR I loved and everything was perfect about this show. thank you dmg for introducing me to indian tv and if DMG werent there, i wouldnt be introduced to desi fangirling world.
