This season has been the worst. Both the judges and SonyTv are here only for money. It pains me to see the extent of their unscrupulous behavior. Is it any wonder that out 2 billion people we don't have even one outstanding performer. This is unfortunately the same in every field. Wasn't it pathetic that india did not win one gold in the Olympics. Poor countries like Kenya, jamaica can win but not ours.
We Indians feel proud of this. Look at these judges they openly are partial. They don't care what the audience feel or what the poor contestants feel. What do they think that there is nobody in the audience who understand music as they do.
They, or rather Asha decided on day one to make Darinder the Indian idol, so no matter how he sings or how many mistakes he makes, he is always given the best review. The worst was when pandit jasrAj gave a standing ovation to him. He was good but definitely did not deserve a standing ovation. I was really saddened by this. I don't understand why respected artists like pt. JasrAj need to do all this.
The final 3 contestants in this season should have been Vipul, Kaushik and Ritika.
They made sure to eliminate all the good singers right at the beginning so that Darinder would not have any tough competition, and choosing him as the winner will be a no brainer. It is pathetic.
You all should watch the American idol. See the quality of singing in the top five. It is absolutely phenomenal. You don't have to understand western music to appreciate it.
I pray and hope that I get to see once my country men being honest in encouraging the best and the deserving.
This is not a dig on anybody, but just an honest plea for us to be a better citizens of tomorrow.
