Salam-e-Ishq
sometimes rejection is the first step of LOVE and ACCEPTANCE..

Hello to all my awsome friends!!!! 🤗 ummm. Ok well just ended the ff , Journey towards dreams, and was thinking of a break but this idea struck me so i thought why not just post it! 😳

''to kaunsa farq parega! Papa ne to line laga kr rakhe hue hai! Uff Raj Uncle, papa aisa kese kr sakte hain? How can he blackmail me?''
'' (chuckle) shadi krwa raha hai tere.. Ab isko to blackmailing kehle ya kuch bhe..''
''shadi nahe krwa rahe! Dhamki de hai unhen ne! To remind you his exact words, ''agar tune, 2 mahine ke ander ander shadi na ke, to mera mara moon dekhe ga'' .. Matlab uncle ye koi tareeqa hai?''

''per uncle.. Maltab.. Ab mein shadi to krloonga, but ye sirf aik bojh hoga.. Aik compromise.. I hope koi aise larki mil jaey, jo mere tarhan aik compromise ke liay tyar ho.. Ye shadi mere liay bus samjhota hoga.. Dad ke liay..''

Nupur Bushan had never met the two men but after accidently listening to their talk, she was sure about one thing, Mayank Sharma was in for a surprise. She wont ever marry him. For her marriage was a holy bond and she was surely not the girl this NIR wanted.

a few hours back..

Nupur sat infront of her dressing table. She knew she looked beautiful but her shaking hands were ruining the effect. She had no idea how on earth she ended up agreeing to her parents. For God's Sake how can she go meet a man as his potential wife?? And what kind of a man asks for a meeting alone with a girl to talk to her for decision of marriage?
Sighing she turned away from mirror and looked around her.
''Nupur you are just getting angry to hide your nervousness.''
that was the truth. Nupur felt all jelly like inside. Meeting a man alone. With the prospect of their ending up being husband and wife? Ofcourse Nupur had always thought about marriage. But.. But how come she never gave much thought to the Asian concept of finding the right bride for a groom.
Nupur stood up and glanced at the mirror again.
She looked.. Pretty..
With her hair half tied and her face lightly touch by beauty items to give her a glow. Yes she looked fine but..
Well.. What if he didnt like her? What if he liked short girls.. She was pretty tall after all..
Or what if he liked zero size girls.. She definitely wasnt one..
What if he was into smoking? She detested the act..
What if he had a habbit of mocking? She will definitely run away from there..
What if ..
''uff! There are so many IFS! Kya karoon mein?''
''sabar kr bacha! Sabar ka phal hmesha meetha hota hai!''
Nupur glared at the new addition to the room she was already glaring at.. ''Gunjan dont.. I am not in a mood to accomodate ur jokes! Specially when you cant even come with me to the restaurant!''
Gunjan: ''ooppsss! Somebody is angry!''
Nupur: ''sweetheart, angry is an understatement!''
she folded her arms and looked away.
''oho Nupur! Baat to sunlo..''
Gunjan hugged her bestfriend from back and announced haltingly to emphasise, ''mein.. Tere.. Sath.. Ja.. Rahe.. Hoon!!!!''
Nupur: ''sachi???'' she felt some of her nervousness evaporate.
Gunjan: ''jee! Ab chalen jee??? Wo NIR hain! Bare punctual log hote hain wo!''
Nupur grinned inspite of herself and hugged Gunjan tightly, praying for herself. Praying because her nerves were creating havoc inside her mind and she knew, somehow she had this feeling that something big was coming her way.

Nupur looked at the man. He was the ''Raj Uncle'' she had heard the NIR talk to. Although she intended to stay stiff, but the man was in late fifties and his fatherly , affectionate smile made it impossible for her to carry out her plans.
Nupur (with a slight smile) ''jee.. Aap?''
''mein Raj Sharma.. Mukul Sharma ka bhai..''
''oh acha..''
Nupur had to give him a smile. But she avoided looking at the man standing beside Raj so Raj himself shifted to bring Mayank forward.
''aur ye hai Mayank Sharma..''
''hello''
''hi''
they both said together rather sheepishly.
''ummm.. So.. Shall we?''
Nupur looked at Mayank and then realised Mayank had extended his arm towards a table for two.
Biting her lip , she glanced at Gunjan but Raj was quick to interupt, ''aray aap log chalen, mein beta jee ke sath yaheen betha hoon.. Ab hmen kabab mein haddi banne ka koi shauq nahe na.. Kyun beta?''
Gunjan mumbled, ''jee uncle'' and shared a meaningful glance with Nupur.
''shall we??''
Mayank repeated, and Nupur had to option but to lead the way.

Awww 😍! So it was sugar coated and honey coated, with a sprinkle of tantrums and a hard based foundation of moral values.
Loved the already established characters meri jaan, and mostly obviously the bond of best friends ❤️ .. Looking forward for the first meeting, as quoting Nupur, "Mayank is in for a surprise".
Cant wait to travel another beautiful journey of love.
