What is Bollywood turning into???

I am really disappointed after seeing KANK. I cant belive Karan Johar made a film like that. I mean what was he thinking. Is he telling us to have affairs like that and even if he has kids. I mean I do not think people do that in real life.

I thought there was 1 director who would make gud family moviez. But after watching that movie my opinion changed. People die to see his movies. But the scenes there were in KANK and what he showed Amitabh as was like omg. I mean I was even disappointed in him. What was he thinking??

Are we that modern now that we can watch all that with our family and friends?

There should be some limits.

Is he trying to show that people who live in foreign countries do that and they have no culture??

I agree. I luv all his moviez. N I was expecting da same for KANK. N he had such a gud cast n cud have made a better movie. Why did he have to have this story??

Nope the scenes are done quite nicely in fact. There's no vulgarity in the scenes. But since the movie is dealing with a mature subject, there has to be lines like the ones Abhi has said (I'm sure you guys have seen the promos)...
It's not an 'adult' movie...so don't worry..

I personally dont see anything wrong with this film, I think it was very well done and Karan did an amazing job at tackling such a mature story line. These things do happen in real life, unfortunately they happen a lot whether in modern times or in the past .. I dont think karan was telling anybody they should have affairs by doing this movie, i think it was a great change from his usual happy-go-lucky movies, it had realistic characters which he focussed away from his oh-so-loveable "rahul & anjali" characters. I think he proved he is able to make a hit film without having to rely on sweet perfect characters and flawless families. Although Kank was not a full out family film which we are used to seeing from Karan Johar, i think it was a great film non the less which focusses on a mature theme never showcased in hindi cinema today

Also, Karan made it very clear through all his promotions that this film is extremly different from anything we would expect from a Karan Johar film.. Yes its definately not for an all-age audience, but i think it was a nice change for the maturer, older audiences 😊

and unlike other directors i feel karan did it tastefully without vulgarity and disgust 👏
