May be Arnav's dad had affair with khushi's mom
But khushi is not any ilicit child she has no blood relation with arnavs dad

Or arnav's dad did something wrong in
which khushi's mom or dad were
An accomplice or reason of arnav's mom death

No bashing please, what i am suggesting
does not make
Arnav and khushi related in any way.

This wont make them brother or sister in any way
But give enough reason for
"nafrat pass aane na de"

Could be but I thought that Arnav's dad liked Khushi's mom but she didn't reciprocate the same feelings. But somehow Khushi and her parents may get blamed anyways. Because of Dadi!

god lets hope the new twist is something ohter than Arnav's dad had a relationship with Khushi's mom... Gosh...why do Indian dramas always revolve around someone having a relationship wiht some one and the women is the only one to BLAME...
