'Jism 2' is something that I can watch with my family: Sunny Leone

How has it been working in Bollywood?

It's been great. It's my first movie here. It's really exciting, it gets released today. I just wish to see how the public is going to react to the movie because it's completely different than what they have seen so far.

So you have a twist there for the viewers?

It's more to do with the story. It's a love story. There's a lot of misconception about the film out there. That is what the film will be able to break.

By now it's a known fact that your presence acted as a catalyst for the entire process, given the publicity the film has received. How does it feel to be in such a position?
(Laughs) I'm not really sure how it feels. Actually, to put it within the framework of a concrete definition is a difficult task, other than the fact that I'm happy to do my job! I got the opportunity to make this movie, to be a part of 'Jism 2', to be a part of such a grand scale movie – the kind of publicity, the kind of response this movie has got is incredible!

When you came to India for 'Bigg Boss', did you have any sort of inkling that you would land where you are today?

No, not at all. Not even a little bit. I wanted to be a part of this world, but didn't get the opportunity to do anything. Then when Bhatt sa'ab came in the 'Bigg Boss' house and saw me on the show, that was amazing.

How would you rate Pooja Bhatt as a director? Did she make you go through sleepless nights to get it all perfect?

She made me do what she wanted to. I got to watch the movie yesterday. During the filming of the movie, there were certain things that I didn't know why I was doing or didn't much understand a scene that I was doing. But she made me do things, and made sure that everything was just perfect. It's beautiful when all of that come together and you'll see it. She's spent so much time on this movie, she made sure that it was simply impeccable.

I heard you had tears in your eyes once you watched the movie yesterday. Why so?

It was such an incredible moment for all of us. I wasn't crying because of what people think. I was crying because here was something that I could see with my family. My husband watched it with me and I called our parents to say that I'd just finished my first movie.

How was your entire experience of speaking in Hindi, given the fact that you don't know even an iota of it?

It was a challenge to learn a whole new language. It was challenging to learn the whole script in Hindi and everything needed to be worked upon.

What sort of expectations do you have from the film?
I guess I want people to like it, because that's what matters. I might like it, my husband might like it, but if the people don't like it, it makes a big difference. I want everybody to watch it once and then watch it again.

Where in Bollywood do you see yourself – say, about five years down the line? A lot rests on the way this film is received by the audience, it seems.

I have no idea! I guess there are so many people out there but I don't know of even one person whose first film has been such an amazing job. Acting is a learned skill, it is a process. And it's my first movie – so people might say that she's a horrible actor. All I need to look forward to is that I need to keep learning, in order to become a better actor!

She speaks from both sides of her mouth. On the one hand, she claims to be proud of being a po*n actress and says that she loves her job. While on the other hand, she seems to imply that she is ashamed of her work constantly whether here or in the Big Boss house. Stick to one opinion? You're not in your flaky teens/20s anymore.

Some po*n stars love their job though and don't depend on drugs/alcohol to get through it. Sunny seems to have managed just fine so far. So why does she pretend to regret it at times? That of course is a rhetorical question. 😆 She is trying to portray a more amiable image to the traditional Indian audience...which is futile because the general population also considers parading around in bikini and doing sex scenes po*nographic.😆😆
