Today is a very depressing day and also a positive day as well.
Positive: Finished the petition so will start sending that out soon for our SBS Season 2. And today's episode was also good.
Depressing and bad news: Toasty's death is basically confirmed guys I FBed Ketaki (Dimple) and asked if Aishwarya has already left the show since that was the vibe I got after reading Aish's tweet. Here is her response:

As for SBS..don't know what they are going to show for a month since supposedly SBS's ending date is September 6th Lagta hai, they will show Smiley handling and trying to console the family after Toasty's loss.

(A reminder heads up, Aradhna will be doing updates Wednesdays and Thursdays...she might also be filling in for me for Monday and Tuesday of this coming week as I will be out of town.)
Yesterday's episode, especially knowing that Toasty is leaving for good, was extremely sad beyond belief only because we know what's coming. I cried during that pre-cap maybe even more than I cried anytime else during this show. Thursday's episode is going to be a rough one. Other than knowing that Toasty is going to leave, the episode was very much like a normal SBS episode...the Chaturvedis all happy...TejYa learning salsa was a cute scene and Toasty trying to establish Tej and Smiley's bond of friendship before her eyes. Once again they showed how each of the members depends on Toasty And I'm sure this is a foreshadowing that once they find out that Toasty is never coming back, the C's will be plunged into darkness again...I'm sure this is what we will be watching for the next month is the Chaturvedi's pain and struggle to move ahead in life without Toasty...or their inability to do so as how they were before Toasty came into their life bringing her light...and now Smiley will bring that light back to them and support them.
It will be the hardest for Tej though...that expression in the pre-cap tore me apart along with that last scene. He loves Toasty more than anything and he refused to let her go alone because he would be worried sick for her the whole time she was gone. And then when he told Toasty that as long as she is there, he will always be happy. Another foreshadowing that the masti-filled, happy Tej will probably become a zinda laash...depressed and maybe routinely getting work done but without a sense of being...he'll be out of his hosh And once again, it'll be Smiley that helps him move on.
I wish and hope that there is some kind of happier ending...that Aish shot some scenes before leaving that leave us with a happy ending where Toasty comes back, finding out that everything was a misunderstanding, and the Chaturvedi's are as happy as ever. I really hope this happens...it could even happen after everyone thinks Toasty passed away and Smiley helps them move on...Toasty apparently still has 3 months to live according to what she said to Dadaji on Tuesday so within that first month, Tej and the family will find out that Toasty isn't coming back and Dadaji will tell them the truth and that she left before dying to keep them happy...then darkness re-enters C Nivas...Smiley helps them pick up pieces of their lives again and learn how to take the first few steps of moving ahead...and once the C's are starting to learn, Toasty will come back and we will have our happy ending *fingers crossed* I guess that's the best we can hope for now. Let's wait and watch what they have in store for us.
