Your desire from an Indian crime fiction show?

Since CID and Adaalat have various problems which surely can be improved upon and I am discussing these shows specially since no other crime show has gone so well with the audiences. So what do you desire from an Indian FICTION crime show?

My points:

->Good Story[obviously! but missing from CID nowadays]

->Fast paced.

->No elongation of episodes [like Adaalat does where one epi is just a filler.]

->Good background score. [Average in both the shows].

They are crime shows, so I want good solid investigation.

I want some casual talk between our cops...not make them look like robots.

I don't want over senti scenes..making them look like kids the very next moment.

There has to be a right balance.

I don't want an overdose...one good episode a week is better than 3 useless ones.

I want max 3 or 4 cops handling one case..not a whole crowd and people vanishing to and appearing from thin air.

Good topic.

I would like to see sensible believable investigations to be shown.

Forensic lab should be just that a forensic lab where respect is given to the dead and the knowledge that the doctors who know their subject matter. Not one where dramas happen and modelling poses are struck. The kind of lab Dr. Salunke used to work in.

Support staff like lady constables, constables, grave diggers are brought in and not the officers doing such stuff. It does not happen in real life at all. And yes I am closely involved with police -public forum in my area and I do know what reality is.😊

Each senior officer has a team he trusts with him and a team distribution that stays unchanged for atleast 2 weeks.

No officer asks incongrous questions like how will we get out now or how will we know who is the criminal. If they did know all the answers crime wouldn't have taken place.

I think this would be nice to begin with. will add more later.

CID isnt called at a crime scene directly in reality. This should be kept in mind, at least sometimes ! It becomes very difficult to digest everyday people losing their valuables and saying "CID ko bulana padega"😆

Neither do I think a lawyer investigates so much about a matter. And many a things are taken for granted in the show Adaalat as well. Just like, if KD makes a revelation after a long interogation in the court, the opposition is ready with the papers proving it to be useless instantly. I am not able to explain it here properly.

I understand there has to be a certain level of leap of faith when a show like CID is made to run for over 15 years. But still, sometimes, it gets too much !

Will mention other points as I remember them.

CID cases should be specials. CID don't go after regular cases, that's local police's duty. When they fails , then CID goes there and investigate. They need special permission for that.

Anyway, Its time for FW to make CID for adults and young generations. CID is not a kid show. The objective they deal in the show not about children's job. So they start making it professional and sophisticated. They should try inventing the ways of investigations rather outrageous love scenes of Abhijeet and Tarika and Salunke.

And I always disliked one fact in CID that they never answered the technical details in the forensic lab, it was always some "chemical", some person and how they have everybody including their own CID officers' fingerprints in their pcs.

The way dr tarika jogs/exercises in her 1st epi!!

I know this is a problem but I don't expect ACP at this age to do the digging part.

Main toh kahunga no team distribution and duo to be always together since two+one bright minds can fasten the investigation.
No officer asks incongrous questions like how will we get out now or how will we know who is the criminal. If they did know all the answers crime wouldn't have taken place. They add these dialogues to add to the minutes in the show otherwise who will advertise in their show which is revenue. But it is very bad.

Good Point Assassinator... But FW will never understand this part... If we say special cases... they will make it a CID officer in Danger case.. or will make it a total Strato case like Goa Special...So its better we have the normal khooni stories... 😆
