If you are over marriage age as they state in the show then why should anyone have the right to tell them what to do. Effectively they should be their own boss.

I thought the bold is what SNS was trying to convey. Kokila is concerned that it will look weird for Jigna to marry now. There are people who would still think this, especially if they are from conservative backgrounds.

We know Kokila and Ahem are against this. Maybe some others too, like Urmila but I don't think anyone cares about what she thinks. However characters like Rashi, Nani, and Gopi support Jigna. So I think the dissenters will learn their lesson and the marriage will take place.

ok as for the message..

I think there are millions of people like Koki who think that marrying at this age is wrong..

Koki accepting and people like Naani giving her consent to Jigna's marriage.. depicts a much needed change in our thought process...

there are many women who idealize koki.. if koki accepts Jigna;s wish after lot of discussion and varied PoVs from everyone.. then the change which has come out in koki' s thought process, is an example of change for the new.. or nayi soch...

what i am wondering is the same track of marrying a middle aged woman is going in SNS and in EHM at the same time..

no no it is for Vanshika aunty... i love the idea.. many of them can't really think and accept marrying at late age due to the so called society..

but we should not take the message that Koki did not agree.. . we should look at it that she agreed after proper explanation .. and everyone making her to understand it..

Great OP and I agree 100%! 👍🏼

Not quite sure people will buy the Koki changing and accepting it idea. Those who are against this will remain against it. Will be bloody rare for a soap opera character to teach anyone any moral lessons. People are generally idiots.
